Wireless.....do people still have these?

Hoovering.....don't you mean vacuuming (even that sounds a tad out of date)?

Can I borrow your Biro....do you mean Ball Point Pen?

A more recent one....Filming, when referring to  recording on a solid state device.

Going to "The Pictures".....again, a ridiculous expression even back in the day!

Must be lots more and, incidentally, I don't say any of the above!

A more recent one....Filming

I notice some people still say 'taping'. Some people taping these days have grown up without ever having seen a machine that uses tapes.

I'll type that again in English.

'Pukka'

A talksport presenter when asked how he was, replied, "pukka".

"Numpty" - yet that boring, egomaniac, dinosaur Alan Brazil uses it everyday on his morning show on TalkSport whenever he disagrees with someone.

It makes me cringe whenever I hear him use the expression.

It's such a pleasure tuning in when he doesn't turn up (usually due to being sozzled from the night before) and Danny Kelly takes the helm.

I still say I've seen something on ceefax - even though it's the very limited information you get 'behind the red button' on BBC these days.
