Facts, I have to hand it to you. On this thread you confect outrage at unproven allegations about a recently deceased man. On the Janner thread, you're positively salivating at unproven allegations about a recently deceased man. All within two hours. Yeh, because the two people concerned are exactly the same aren't they ? Unbelievable. If you seek a comparison, look to Jimmy Saville. Janner was known to be suspect for years. In circles of people it was 'common knowledge' His associates were proven child molesters. He was known to visit a number of childcare homes, especially one run by a known paedophile.. Who has subsequently died in prison. There are dozens of accusers going back to the sixties. All traumatised beyond belief. It is known that there has been a cover up. Read the history of the man. ' Positively salivating ' ? Don't be ridiculous. I'm just angry for the people who have been robbed of the chance to give their evidence, There is no closure for them.. Troll somewhere else |

The influence Savile claimed to wield over the police is shocking, but was no secret at the Flying Pizza, where the TV presenter would talk of his “hotline” to officers. “He used to come in here on his own and talk about the Friday meetings,” says Francis, a 63-year-old retired doorman who knew Savile well from the late Sixties onwards. Speaking for the first time, he says: “He used to take great delight in telling people that if he had any problems, his friends at Millgarth [the former city centre West Yorkshire Police headquarters] would sort it out. All the gigs we played at had minimum entrance ages of 16+ ! Now ...our ages were 16 - 18 at the time - hardly paedo stuff ! If a 14 year old lied about her age to get in to the dance - hardly our fault ! And as she's slipping her draws off in the back of our Van ...do you really think we're going to ask - can I see your driving licence or passport dear ? Get phucking real. Of course I'm making all this up ...never really happened .... |
