Though I have never been a fan, having ived through the Ali, Frasier Foreman era, you have to accept he beat the reigning champ of 11 years, and is currently the best. as for his views. agree or disagree, he's not taking the piss and pretending to endorse some piece of crap for us to buy. Very refreshing.

Stripping him is a joke but lets be honest we knew it would happen , the more world champs they have the more the promoters can make on the fights and whoever else is getting their pockets filled. So there will be 3 heavyweight world champs soon.

Tyson should never give Haye the fight imo , how long did Fury wait for him  but wasted away part of his career?

Ebul

Harrison was worse than that, he should have been done by the trades descriptions act.
He didn't throw a punch in his last three KOs
Yet out of the ring he had the gob of a used car salesman.

Facts showing his prejudice yet again.

The man is a traveller, this is their tradition its also the tradition of the Roma.

These are the people Facts wants to import in large numbers.

Its also very close to the views of the religion of peace, another group championed by the hypocritical Facts.
Facts promised to house refugees some time back, acting like Bob Geldof but we knew it was an empty gesture,we knew Facts wants others to do the lifting.

Travellers have Ethnic status in Britain which means they have all these support groups to help them sue Britain wouldn't it be great if Facts was done for hate speech.

Lindsey Tucker, IBF championships chairman (surely that should be chairperson) has revealed that Tyson has been stripped of his IBF belt because he had agreed to fight mandatory challenger Vyacheslav Glazkof, but now will fight Wladmir Klitschko instead.

I'm sure he's gutted Laugh

The person who started the petition on Tyson is he also starting a petition on the Religion of Peace who behead Gays, Cover up their women, allowed 4 wives, Females NOT allowed to drive in Saudi, etc.  Will the BBC highlight all this?  Why single out one man who has NEVER beheaded a gay person or treat his wife badly.  Lets see what the do gooders and Lefties will say.  Will Rutherford and others come out and speak on issues of how these religious groups and countries treat the same people Fury has spoken about????

rutherford says he,s not pulling out and everyone under free speech is allowed an opinion,
the only inquiry should be if one of the other 11 who havnt got a personality win

Surely the IBF can only strip him of his belt on a certain date that he has failed to box the mandatory challenger, not before ?
By:
Mikael D'Haguenet
When: 09 Dec 15 15:40
I think you'll find the IBF can do whatever the hell they want. Besides, if Fury is signed to a rematch with Klitschko, why would they want to wait to strip him?
By:
Ibrahima Sonko
When: 09 Dec 15 15:43
because klitschko could get injured, its happened before.

havnt gone through the complete list but i,d say fury is different to the other 11 on 2 counts
a, he has a personality
b,he,s achieved a truly outstanding sporting achievement ,whilst the others have had the good fortune to achieve their success in the rare sports still covered by the bbc

That's pretty much what it boils down to Injera

The gut response to a sporting event / achievement

Other than when it's some orchestrated sh1te the year Ryan Giggs won it.

Of course this year, it's turned into investing your whole world view / sexual orientation / political outlook into an award that's nothing more than trying to further Gary Lineker's desire to be a stand-up comedian

Fury is a religious nut job, with the same basic views as muslims, who beat a man way past his best and no one else of any note.  He's got the personality of a pillock.

I think if you are going to win this award as a boxer for me you have to defend your world title a few times, especially in a year like this one.  Froome or Farah deserve to win on achievement, but unfortunately neither will.

I used to bet a lot on SPOTY and always tried to get opinions on sport that I liked but was no expert on.  I asked my dad who he would bet on that year and he said Calzaghe, that was enough for me Happy

If my memory serves me right that was also the year when calzage's odds went down so I put more on him whilst program was on. Although I know they usually stop the betting?
