He sounded like a muslim terrorist the way he was going on about **** and how women belong in the kitchen.

He does have a point though.
Also, the way he serenaded Klitch before the fight and sang some Aerosmith to his Mrs after winning sealed the deal for me. He was in Scotland last week. Stopped by a B&B in Ballingluig ... http://www.thecourier.co.uk/news/local/perth-kinross/not-tough-enough-to-tackle-the-black-pudding-boxing-champ-tyson-fury-opts-for-pancakes-during-surprising-stop-off-at-perthshire-inn-1.913800 |

World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has again gone on the offensive after being accused of making homophobic and sexist comments, calling the thousands of people who have signed a petition demanding his removal from the BBC Sports Personality of the Year shortlist "50,000 w-----s".
Fury, who stunned Wladimir Klitschko to win the WBA, IBF and WBO belts last weekend, insists he would be the only worthy winner even if he has little interest in the award. In a thinly-veiled swipe at Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton and Davis Cup winner Andy Murray, Fury told IFL TV: "I can honestly say I'm not really interested in winning BBC Sports Personality of the Year. "I know for a million per cent I've got more personality in the end of my little finger than the whole of the nomination group put together. And everybody knows that. Everybody in the country knows that. "I've got more personality in my little toe than they've all got put together so if it comes to personality there's only one winner. If it comes to sporting achievements there's only one winner. @J_Ennis if I'm going to get in trouble for giving a woman a compliment what has the world come to, I said u look fit in a dress? — Gypsy King (@Tyson_Fury) December 4, 2015 I've got more personality than all the other competitors put together,in this years @BBCSPOTY who can compete with my sporting achievement!! — Gypsy King (@Tyson_Fury) December 4, 2015 "What personality does it take to drive a car around a track 100 times or hit a ball back and forth. That's not very personality is it?" When questioned about the petition demanding his removal from the nominations, Fury added: "50,000 w-----s. That's what I say about them. If anybody else wants to add to them they can add to their numbers can't they." The 27-year-old also reiterated his views on women after earlier saying that Olympic champion Jessica Ennis-Hill "slaps up good" and "looks good in a dress", adding that "a woman's best place is in the kitchen and on her back". He said in the latest interview: "I'm a little bit backward. I didn't really go to school. Which part of a woman looks good in a dress is sexist? "Or was it about the cooking and cleaning? I stand up for my beliefs. My wife's there [standing alongside Fury]. Her job is cooking and cleaning and looking after these kids. That's it. "She does get to make some decisions. What she's going to cook me for tea in a bit when I get home. That's the decisions what she gets to make. That's my beliefs, just like I believe in Lord Jesus Christ as my lord and saviour and if anyone wants to dispute that let them do it. Am I bothered? No. "My belief is that my wife should be at home looking after my kids and cooking and cleaning. She's a very privileged woman to have a husband like me. Not everyone's in her position but the ones who are are very lucky. That's my opinion." Just to recap, I stick by anything I've said in the past, 10000% being the heavyweight champion makes no difference to me, I'm a roll model — Gypsy King (@Tyson_Fury) December 6, 2015 Asked if he was a role model, he said: "People should look up to me. Young kids. I am a good role model. I'll show them how men should really be. Real men. And kids can take note from that. I am a good role model. Lots of kids look up to me. "This week has taught me that when you're at the top of the world everybody wants to bring you down. But they're never going to do it." The heavyweight champion, who is due to face Klitschko in a rematch next year, also insisted he was unfazed by the criticism this week, telling the doubters to "suck my balls". Any news paper who don't like @Tyson_Fury or what he stands for can F...off. His views are my views one blood" one family!! — peter fury. (@peterfury) December 5, 2015 "I'm not really interested to be honest," he said. "They can say what they want about me but they can't knock my achievement. I beat the man who nobody can beat. So until someone can go in and beat him again then they can suck my balls. "I am Tyson Fury, Gypsy King, nuff said." is ebulgery tyson fury ? |

Do you think he was being controversial on purpose to try and gain some sort of spotlight and interest or was he just being himself???
|
|
By:
I reckon he's genuine.

is ebulgery tyson fury ?
I though he was related to Mungo? |

By:
Lets all lay him for SPOTY.

is ebulgery tyson fury ?
sorry to disappoint you..if only I was ![]() He is reiterating the natural values we used to live by that is all Women are not the same as men...and never will be Gay sex is not the same as heterosexual sex and never will be either Our society is actually harming ourselves in believing this, but people wont see it I agree with trilby he is 100% genuine |
|
By:
He's genuine for sure but he's also crackers and so he may say one thing today and the opposite tomorrow and they're both true. In his own way he's both complex and simple. What can be said with some degree of certainty is that he's proud of his roots, he worships his wife and family, at heart he's got a simple old fashioned decency about him and he's a long way away from the image of fighter as bully.

I just don't like to see him reducing himself to farcical sh1te for the kids sake.
If I'm honest, I'm rather impressed at his machismo "I am Tyson Fury, Gypsy King, nuff said"! Extraordinary. Somewhere is a tree, tirelessly producing oxygen for him to breathe. I think he owes it an apology. |
|
By:
Thank you for your concurrence, ebulGery.
I have been wondering for quite some time as to whether you're related to Mungo Jerry? Distant cousins? |
|
By:
I see Clare Baldings missus is pleading for him not to win it....
![]() He can count on my vote |
|
By:
All the fuss from the luvvies wil make Tyson favourite just to disappoint them !
|
|
By:
I hope he wins it.
Him and this crock of sh1t award deserve each other |
|
By:
Seems an interesting chap, certainly might make it worth watching the show if he is allowed to speak.
|
|
By:
A monkey flinging its faeces around in a cage is interesting and draws a crowd.
So does hardcore porn and beheading videos. Not particularly edifying though and not really a vehicle for 'roll models', except for the really sick and twisted. |
|
By:
He would have been better to keep his views to himself. He won't make as much away from fighting as he could have done through sponsorships and endorsements. His management team should have know better.
|
|
By:
So we can say with certainty that there's no such thing as freedom of expression?
Many views of many people will offend. Most of these people are silenced in one way or another. In Fury's case it's an online petition, media outrage etc. The Charlie Hebdo journos were shot. Do only certain offensive views have the right to be offered? Ahh free speech and it's field of mines. |
|
By:
Irrespective of his views most of the people vilifying him are the same ones who tell us we must embrace Islam.
Their views on homosexuality are much more extreme than the views he has expressed. |
|
By:
I for one demand the right of luvvies to spend their lives venting their spleens in faux outrage but it does irk me when they deliberately lie to make a point. Fury neither made a point on whether he agrees with abortion or homosexuality. Given his cultural origins I would be surprised if he's keen on either. Bringing his stream of consciousness thoughts into some order the true object of his anger is paedos and their attempts to highjack the màinstream through politics and the gay rights movement. Who could possibly disagree with him?

|
By:
Best thing to happen to boxing for years. World heavyweight that's all over the media
This furore just makes me want to vote for for him. Nothing better than an anti-gay speech whilst collecting BBCs biggest sporting award. Will send the twitterites into meltdown ![]() |
|
By:
It was only a couple of months ago he said on buncies espn podcast he was going to seriously pack boxing in to become a politician.
![]() He seems rather bi-polar to me. |

Seem to have it in for Christian beliefs at the moment.

The Katie Hopkins of sport.
If that's 'personality' you're welcome to him. As for the freedom of speech argument, you can't shut the soppy twerp up! Heroes defend freedom of speech, cowards hide behind it. |

He is not a coward RogertheButler one does become heavyweight champion of the World if one is a coward
Boxing is probably the hardest sport, one is getting beaten up for a living, anyone who gets into the ring is showing courage. I know your views on homosexuality Roger and you know mine, nuff said |
|
By:
few inuendos there one thinks
|
|
By:
I don't know if this will impact on peoples views on Fury but I think it was his Uncle when asked what he was most proud in relation to him said that given his heritage and how it compelled a man to fight that he was most proud of the fact that neither Tyson nor his heavyweight cousin Hughie had ever had a fight outside the ring. People can draw their own conclusions from that but it certainly doesn't suggest to me a man throwing his weight around. He clearly has his views which he derives from the bible. Who are we to tell him he cannot hold those views especially if he isn't advocating violence against gays.

A very fair post eternal

He has old fashioned views on many topics, family unit is important to him.
Morality of today is not the same as the morality of , say the 1950s. Is our world of today better or worse than it was then? |
