I will help you .....It's an anonymous forum, populated with people with made up names, we don't know each other I cannot abuse you personally just the views of your 'Alter ego'. HTH

Btw I have enjoyed the many contributions you have posted on Horse racing, you have always come across as a well informed, intelligent, decent guy. We just don't agree on this, be lucky Wink.

It shows how superficial David Cameron is,shows how scared he is.

The idiot that shouted this inanity ignores the fact that that is exactly what that gentleman is,a true Muslim.

"Dispatches has investigated a number of mosques run by high profile national organisations that claim to be dedicated to moderation and dialogue with other faiths. But an undercover reporter joined worshipers to find a message of religious bigotry and extremism being preached."

This is quote of the year and in so few words completely typifies a Londoner. Superb stuff. Makes me even more proud of my hometown which is the greatest city on earth.

alun... whilst it may technically be an untruth it has potential as a rallying cry for the moderate Muslim when an outrage is committed supposedly in the name of his/her faith... it is much catchier than "Islam is a religion of peace and we do not condone these acts" or other such anodyne tripe that gets parroted out at such times.

Absolutely right Injera. In France ghouls like that are liable to be prosecuted. I heard on R4 that only one member of the public did anything to help the unfortunate victim. That "have-a-go-hero" should be commended.

Clouseau

The phrase begs the question...

Who is (as opposed to aint) a Muslim?

The FGM promoting father/mother? The imman who says Muslim women shouldn't ride a bicycle?
The parents who kill their kid for 'dishonouring' Islam?
The law court in Saudi that rules a convert FROM Islam should be executed?

The man who insists his Mrs should be dressed in black (as opposed to his white) and walk BEHIND him?

We STILL await a journo to have the balls to ask these questions and more.

Whether he is or ain't a Muslim is semantics, what's key to this is the brilliant statement and the typical 'London' attitude.
By:
alun2005
When: 08 Dec 15 20:16
The stabbings and the "This is for Syria' statement is ultimately far more representative of modern London, and its many peace-loving types.

None of the above imo and probably the vast majority of Muslims in this country who don't have a coherent and media-friendly/ headline-attracting spokesperson.

I can't wait to see how many other Islamist terrorists will suddenly be given the 'Youaintnomuslimbruv' treatment.  The 7/7 assassins?  Lee Rigby's killers?  The Charlie Hebdo/Bataclan Theatre mass murderers?

When will this preposterous re-writing of history lunacy end?
By:

When: 08 Dec 15 21:15
Don't think doing it retrospectively would work alun but it gives the "moderate majority" the perfect opportunity to get the placards out and march against these religious usurpers and show their solidarity with this country and its values with a slogan that matches in its succinctness the "Je suis Charlie"

There really is no excuse now for moderates to get out and disown the fanatics and we can all join in. win/win.
By:
wildmanfromborneo
When: 08 Dec 15 21:39
If you are a moderate then the phrase is correct.

There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim, the ones called moderate are really lapsed Muslims.

Hearing Johnny Mustang talking about London wit is nauseating, the present Londoners inherited one of the greatest cities in the world and they just handed it over without a fight.
Look at who they elect.listen to London audiences, its a Muslim city now.
