just walked in, put the tv on and saw David Davis talking.

He's got it right - rather than make symbolic gestures get the arse hole Turks and Saudis (allegedly our allies) to stop aiding and abetting

and also I think that some of these 24 news channels could do worse than 'go live' to 'in running offician' chit chat threads.

Such threads after all, cover most of the serious issues confronting the world today.

margret beckett and co now using the argument that how would we feel if the french asked us for specific help and we didnt get it,
well if you believe a word cameron and co say the french have only asked us because our brimstone weapons are better than theirs so why would we ask them for help if their weaponary isnt any use,its just excuse after excuse or reason after reason depending on your position , no one in their right mind would be persuaded by these  tit for tat arguments

just when you think you,ve heard from the biggest loons in westminster, another absolute loon appears from the midst
this christin blunt fella 2 weeks ago trawled every tv studio saying there was no case for the uk to get involved in syria bombings, cameron pulls him to onside and feeds him the fantasy story about 70,000 fighters and he does a 360 degree u turn, now gets ravaged on a daily basis by fellow mp,,s pundits, media etc for been taking in by this gash

sick of hearing about this benn speech forget about his dad turning in his grave at it,but the media and tory mp,s will have us believe it sent more labour mp,s through the yes lobby, shadow home secretary andy burnham who alegedly tore into corbyn at the shadow cabinet meeting and was sat 1 seat away from benn was clapping and cheering like a seal then walked through the NO lobby and couldnt wait to get his mug on tv telling us why, gawd no,s what burnham would have done if benns speech had been shoite, you only have to look at the 360 degree u turn by christan chunt after camerons laughable remarks about 70,000 troops to no these mp,s stand for absolutely nothing and represent no one but themselves and their ego,s,

Benn - a name associated with warmongering - I cannot believe it. Sky are in orgasm mode over the speech.
Can I inform you all that bombing is the precursor to combined arms assault. You disrupt and keep their heads down with bombardment - while their ears are still ringing (if they have any ears left) you go in with the infantry. Failure to do this results in stalemate. This addition to the so called allies assault on daesh will not make any difference. We are more in danger from inside the uk or from european terrorists.  We have our own 450 returnees (trained and ideologically on side) and an organised group currently touring the country whipping up support for the caliphate.  We need to look over our shoulder here rather than bombing the desert 1000s of miles away.  Meanwhile - what have daesh done - moved their headquarters to lybia.

There will be fun at re-selection time in the Labour constituency parties.

Mobo : very similar to your post on other thread, why didn't you c&p it?

As an islamaphobe (courtesy of ebulgerry) and a terrorist sympathiser (kamaroon) I think Benn's speech was horrific. A Benn who is a warmonger - amazing stuff.
Don't they realise bombing is for softening up and while their heads are down you go in with the troops to finish them off? So what I am saying is it won't achieve what, these mainly ignorant, politicians think it will.
They will dig in and crawl out of the rubble and carry on - but ask this - what will happen to the rest of the population, infrastructure, water etc ?? I know about these things and it will be horrific if they actually bomb raqqa  (if they do).  Look at the state of the yemen.
There is more danger to us in our own country with 450 returnees walking the straights (trained ideologically and militarily)and there is an organisation promoting the caliphate currently doing a tour!!!  I think we need to look over our shoulders than look at syria.  The russians yanks and french can get on with it.

probably so furious about these warmongering kants I forgot!! ha ha  - doesn't anyone know how one carries out these missions - the tactics and strategies
some of the ginks are ex serving members of the arms forces and have forgotten you can do little with bombs and its the foot sloggers who clear them out

it is all rather pathetic and the media have gone gung ho - it is really pathetic.
If they really are going to bomb raqqa  IF  - then they are going to kill thousands of innocents unless daesh release them from the hold they have over them.

We are not going to bomb residential parts of the city, we are going to attack their military centres and the oil selling supply lines.
