i work a night-shift at Tesco, half-a-dozen white English who've been at the same store over 25 years (I kid u not), and the rest are Eastern Europeans recruited over the last 10 years. 4 new people joined last week - the first hiring since I was taken on a year ago - and all 4 are Lithuanian, a Polish (of course, it's the law now isn't it?), a Romanian (although he describes his countrey of origin as 'Transyllvania', and another who's origin I'm uncertain of (but its E. Eu.)

"It is getting harder for people to get a good job today, because business does not want to train their own employees up anymore, they prefer to hire foreigners who already have the skills and experience"
Macarony this is the right wing agenda you yourself espouse - as long as we aren't rioting or fomenting revolution, the people who have been our leaders these last few decades couldn't care less how sh1t our lives are or how hard it is to get a job. |

.. as long as they can keep getting elected - i should have added.

One thing you can be sure about with Corbyn is that Britain's national interests will come last.
Yesterday he couldn't wait to run along to be seen attending some ridiculous Pro-Refugee event. He'd rather swamp Britain with thousands of foreigners (sight unseen, no security checks) rather than help our own citizens, such as the injured and disabled ex-servicemen who put their bodies on the line so that the Left-leaning can then try to prosecute them at a later date. How many "refugees" (i.e. economic migrants) will Corbyn PERSONALLY be accommodating, feeding, clothing and paying all expenses of? And how many 'refugees' is he already personally taking care of from previous conflicts? We also still await news of how many refugees from war-torn countries FACTS has taken care of in the past, and how many he proposes to take from the latest group. You see he's already loftily informed us that he would gladly share his home with a desperate refugee fleeing a war torn country (apparently it's the moral and humanitarian thing to do), but he's remarkably shy about giving any details of his own previous and personally funded efforts in this area. |

Of course UKIP Facts. Which is why I think a Corbyn led Labour party is just the ticket for you and a disaster for ordinary working class people. You're a fully paid up member of the open borders, pro EU, unlimited immigration, put em to the front of the queue, prioritise incomers for jobs, health, etc. You don't seem to have any understanding of the concerns and needs of the indiginous people of this country. My guess is that Corbyn will reveal himself to be very much in tune with your idea of socialism rather than that of the poor of this country.
Of course UKIP are far from a perfect fit which is why I made the comment I did about the political establishment not working in their interests. One thing is for sure though. They would represent more of their concerns than you. |

Nice to see the class war alive and well. Who was the last working class PM who spoke up for the Northern working class, Wilson?

facts why wont u answer aluns questions?

My old Dad was a Union Executive . He went to meetings on behalf of his members to discuss wage issues with Building firms in London. Often strikers would be protesting outside. Dad would emerge and be accosted by some men shouting the odds and protesting how could he represent them ( the workers ), because he was wearing a suit !!
It doesn't matter weather you're rich or poor, in a suit or rags. It's what you're fighting for that's important. |

By:
That is my whole point Facts he won’t be fighting for the white working class will he.

he won’t be fighting for the white working class will he.
No chance of that. Their jobs and their futures will have to make way for the no-limit number of "refugees" (i.e. chancer migrants) who will be waved through the badly-misnamed Border Control. Regardless of whether they are terrorists and rapists. Remember, the worst sin of Modern Labour is to be patriotic. God only knows what the proud and patriotic working-class Labour voters of the first half of the 20th century would make of the current incumbents. |

That is my whole point Facts he won’t be fighting for the white working class will he. Of course he will be. That's the platform he was elected on. Haven't you listened to any of his pre election speeches ? |

LOLOL, we'll put you down for ZERO then. Just like me and 99.99% of the rest of the public.

By:
I can't wait to see this Jeremy 'British Jobs For British Workers' Corbyn in action. That was Brown's line but I'm sure he won't mind JC recycling it.
|
|
By:
So he is going to stop immigration and withdraw Britain from the EU?
Or is he just going to do like the rest of them and suck up to big business. Bit by bit he will drop or water down all his pledges. You know it and so do and so does everyone else. |
|
By:
Er ....No I don't.

Of course he will be. That's the platform he was elected on. Haven't you listened to any of his pre election speeches ? I didn't take too much notice of the goings on Facts but if you are right then that would be a refreshing change. Can you point me to any of his speeches or literature which back your statement up? |
|
By:
Any politician who claimed to be "fighting for the white working class" would presumably be decried by the Left? Or at the very least be called a racist???

Alan et al
As a reported admirer of Karl Marx I was wondering if Corbyn was an Atheist. Can't seem to unearth any stories about his religious beliefs. Anybody know? |
|
By:
His first act as leader was to go to a march for refugees not to a poor council estate to meet the unemployed.
The hatred of Corbyn isnt about worrying for the future of Labour but for the future of the Country. |
|
By:
what do you care?
you will be dead for the most part of that supposed change and the younger generations dont have the same outlook as you. |
|
By:
I will be dead by the mid 2020s? Thats bad news. Where did you hear this?
Are you suggesting that all young people want to see mass immigration increasing, hyperinflation and economic ruin? |
|
By:
so the haters think Corbyn will win in 2020, bizarre turn of events!
|
|
By:
Im saying youve most likely had the best of it.
I dont necessarily mean your life but certainly circumstances in relation to the economic situation. Im not getting into your personal position or age, but generally speaking the baby boomers had the best scenario and all younger ones pay for it. Yet its the older ones who believe the cultural issue is fervent, while thay dont. So step back, youve had your run of it now let them decide. |
|
By:
Its typical of the theory of human protectionism.
Already cameron tweeting Armageddon, security risk to nation, family and finances. Those older ones so ready to defend their pile at the expense of the poor all this time wobbling. |
|
By:
housing will get them in the end. Older want increasing house prices. younger just want somewhere to live. Both cant have it their own way
|
|
By:
Indeed dusty I agree with what you say about baby boomers. Not sure why the young should decide the next election or even if they will be backing Corbyn in large numbers.
I have no idea what brendans point is? As the leader of one of two parties who could win the election it would be silly to say he couldnt be PM. I think that would be a disaster especially for the poor and old. Nobody here has given me an example of any country printing money on a politicians orders whilst the economy is growing that has ended well or indeed any countries where an overall economic policy like Corbyns has been successful. That leaves me wondering why anyone would think he could possibly do any good. |
|
By:
Incidentally that one policy of money printing is my main objection to Corbyn. He wouldnt have been my choice as leader but the prospect of him as PM wouldnt bother me in the slightest if he dropped that nonsense.
|
|
By:
Because it sort of defies logic that the old determine the future Dotchinite
|
|
By:
bet the MPs who supported him to run for leader at the start are this morning choking in their corn flakes
|
|
By:
Nobody is suggesting the old should pay for the young, but the wealth collection is generally made from poor whether young or old.
The disparity in equality has come about because of all the things being offered to those wanting to fleece the rest. The mentality of the young could be a good thing for all. Though personally I dont care, Im not saying theis will be a winner because I have my reservations, but because Im not greedy and I have enough then so be it. |
|
By:
You want a maximum voting age?
|
|
By:
The left love to bang the drum for the young and why not? They lack wisdom, judgment, are easy to indoctrinate and get carried away with emotion. Consequently they are disproportionately left leaning until they grow up.
|
|
By:
until the get greedy, and protect their own wealth and think only of themselves, its an age old tradition and refuted
|
|
By:
unrefuted
|
|
By:
dusty what do you think the "view of the young" is. I think brendan makes the best point about housing and sooner or later that has to cause massive problems between generations whose priorities differ but aside from that Corbyn is offering nothing to the young as far as I can see other than typical vague soundbites like all politicians do.
