I would respect a labour party getting trounced with JC at the helm far more than I ever respected them trouncing the tories with T Blair at the helm.

If you could get the kids and the benefit scroungers off their backside and down the election booths it mightn't be such a thrashing but the lazy fookers won't get up and do it, they'd rather sit back and moan about the status quo without voting to change it.

Looking at some of his polices I can't see him living past the next couple of years. There will be lining up to take him out.

He is for public ownership of energy companies and against fracking but doesn't say how he will keep the lights on apart from a few deep coal mines which won't do the job and will be expensive.
Is he in favour of nuclear power or does he think a few more windmills are the answer?

He likes allotments and so do I. Half the allotments on the site I use are not occupied anymore since the LABOUR council more than tripled the rents. No new tenants are coming along although this is a densly populated area so the situation will get worse. Rents are going up again next month Crazy.

The bio digester is the simple answer to all our power and gas needs, so long as there is bio mass life on earth we can produce methane gas.
But that would mean ending the power monopolies of some the most devious greedy corrupt bastards on earth, and there lays the problem.

Would take an awful lot of biomass to replace the 200 million tonnes oil equivalent we consume in the UK annually. It has it's place but we are still dependent on Arab oil and Russian gas for the forseeable future.

I liked the analysis of Corbyn you posted xmoneyx. Interesting to see a Scottish perspective since to get elected Labour would need to win back many Scottish constituencies or form an alliance with SNP.

We have pleanty of sh1t and vegetation in this country don’t forget methane is the most abundant combustible gas on the planet.
Methane is also a greenhouse gas, so capturing some of the methane and burning it off before it seeps into the atmosphere is a win win situation.

Yes, I'm in agreement with all that and sewage treatment plants do recuperate and use methane to provide some of the energy they consume. Waste water treatment is very energy intensive and consumes  more than is recovered in this way. We can do more in this direction I'm sure. I think we need a lot more nuclear generation though if we are to reduce both our dependence on fossil fuels and our carbon dioxide emissions.

A lot of farmers are investing in bio digesters, some are even giving up farming altogether.

I think you'll find that a significant amount of the votes for Corbyn as leader of the Labour Party came from the ' kids '

Seemingly all the other political parties had a whip round and sent a wreath to the Labour Party's HQs. Laugh

Corbyn is a breath of fresh air in that he has exposed the vaccuity(?)in UK politics. If he does half decent it may bring about a welcome change of approach at Westminster. He wouldn't get my vote however.

Interesting idea aka, what if George Gallowayseeks to get back into the Labour party under Corbyn who might support GG ? He could be used as an attack dog on the shadow front bench, quite a few would be wary of him.

I doubt it tt. Galloway is a busted flush and everyone including himself knows that.
Been exposed as a liar on too many occasions to have any credibility in parliament.

Hi treetop, hope you are well and winning, he may be a breath of fresh air, but don't forget Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless and tasteless gas, and my worry is I've already experienced, headaches, dizziness, and nausea, by his Pollyanna, utterances, and shadow cabinet appointments. Sad

And thats the problem. 6th formers and students have to be left wing to have any street cred (Hague, Gove, and Mandelson among the few exceptions)
As soon as they graduate and get a job in a bank or in insurance they turn Tory overnight.

Facts.
Could you show us a country which has successfully permanently embraced your left wing ideology? If it's the answer to so many problems it must be there as an example for us all.
