Magazines (sometimes). I used to do a lot of that, with certain magazines, as a teenager, AP, but all I got was the smell of glossy paper... ![]() |

Sorry tale from Mumsnet. Possibly even trolling by a CCer.
Hi all. This is my first posting. I'm worried and not sure what to think. My husband and I have been together for 19 years. We almost broke up 5 years ago after our marriage got so bad that we both turned to other people outside our marriage. It's still tough at times but our relationship overall is so much better than ever before. We have 4 children and have had 5 au pairs over the past 4 years. every time. We have a fantastic sex life and feel very lucky. I have never said no to him. But yesterday, I just wanted to sleep, so turned him down. I woke when he left our bedroom and caught him rummaging in our au pair's bag and hoing through her dirty laundry basket and having a really big sniff of her knickers. I confronted him and he denied it at first even though he knew I had seen him. I feel numb. The au pair doesn't know as far as I know. I can't look her in the face. . http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/relationships/2297206-Husband-Caught-in-Au-Pairs-Room |

Sorry if it's a bit odd, but I love the smell of my cats fur and my aquarium.
I also like the smell of marker pens, but that's normal. |

not all marker pens, some can be disappointing

Some surprising omissions to date.
I find that a typical Newsagent's shop always has an invigorating fragrance about them. Something of everything in there for the lucky consumer with the sensitive nasal passages..... apples rotting in an old school desk... a dartboard on fire near a toothpick farm... a newt on holiday in Tangiers... mmmmmiaow, I can also always detect the scent of clouds, poodles b*lls, and the very lightest hair that drops from a pensioner following a curly perm. |

Are you related to Keats, perchance?

I have lost my sense of smell accept for 20 mins after waking up......I put it down to years of using a nasal spray to help me breath through my nose.
|
|
By:
Leopard....I suppose you know that these sprays work by, somehow, extending the nasal passages.
Unfortunately from prolonged use the expand inwards, therefore defeating the object. I have suffered with problems after getting a gym beam dropped on my face at age 14, so I'm never 100%. I got hooked on "Synex" which was literally "a breath of fresh air" when I was even worse with a cold. It didn't take long to realise that it was making things worse, even when I didn't have cold! It took about three moths of abstinence to kick the habit. |
