One of the most repulsive people in the Business that is called Show . http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1767356 First thread I looked at. Hmmm I wonder if they will start the ding-dong the witch is dead partys? ...But its not nice if its one of your own. |

Know at least 3 people who worked with Cilla over the years. None of them had anything good to say about her,
By:
"didn't suffer fools gladly" = what a bitch, started off with nothing, proberly scared stiff of losing it turned her into what she was
By:
Nice or nasty person, we all grew up with Cilla.
I picked my 19YO Daughter up earlier and the first thing she said was "Cilla Black is dead". TV has changed nowadays, you can die a z list celebrity like the guy from The Apprentice but Cilla was a big name for me anyway and it's a part of my youth that has gone. RIP. |

BBC have a reporter outside her villa!!
By:
to me she peaked musically late 60s,she had her own bbc Saturday night show,
theme song written by macca and a couple of big hits to finish off the decade, but theres no doubt she was a big star, its just a shame she just wasn't very nice |
By:
in fairness to cilla she never turned back on her roots
remained a ginge to the end |
By:
Just think what it's going to be like when that McCartney berk snuffs it......3 days of "Oh, he was so wonderful, and did you know he was a vegetarian?"

I wonder if Ricky Tomlinson will be asked for a comment?

Cilla had two more-or-less independent careers, first as a singer and then as one of our top television presenters: Blind Date and Surprise Surprise each ran for about 20 years. She wasn't to my taste but I'm not really sure it matters whether she was up herself: it's not like she was going to invite herself round for tea. A more legitimate complaint might be that she never advanced her art; she was a bit more than a covers act with a good set of pipes, but not much more.

Has she risen from the grave yet. Half expecting it listen to the tributes.

Well the thread started respectfully enough, but then, as expected turned into an insult thread.
By:
kenny........how can you have respect for a working class girl who idolised maggie thatcher
By:
I didn't, cardiff. I didn't care for her much, hence the no RIP from me. But I'd never come on a thread slagging someone off the day they died.

jimmy tarbuck said she was liverpools cinderella..........think he got that wrong
