They won't show how Corals knock back more than £25 on a bet, how the managers think the FOBTs are fine.
Only showing someone backing ODD or EVEN on roulette (which also almost NEVER happens) |

Unfortunately I'm watching this with a 15 minute delay and it's making my blood boil.

This must be the only betting shop manager in the country who doesn't bet..... He is though SF as he said early he's funking for EVERY bet to lose ![]() ![]() |
|
By:
Luckily the shops are so close together that you can run from one to another to get the bet on.
|
|

As you say, it's a load of bollocks Mike.

I'm good friends with my local Corals manageress. She has to clean up the crappy toilets, hoover, clean the windows herself, dust etc during her working day as the area manager sacked the cleaners.

Inaccurate, leaving LOADS of relevant stuff out, showing staff loving the boss and the company (which with Coralls more than anyone, never happens). This must be the only betting shop manager in the country who doesn't bet..... The way they featured Shaun gave the impression that you can back a few longer priced selections on the less popular markets and win £10k. Easy money. |

same in my area they used to clean up as they go

I only visit betting shops once in a blue moon but that's enough to know these machines should be completely banned.

The "giving back" of 'over' £250,000 for the Man U corner is crap. It was for NEW accounts only!!!

11 job applications in a week?
He should do 11 a per day. How long does a phone call or email take? |

Tony has been there since I started going in 30 years ago. (Stuart was the manager in those days). I don't like Tony. And he's being much more polite with the camera on him. wheres stuart now |

Last time I saw Staurt he was at the Halifax branch near to the Piece Hall.

All they're showing is people in their shop betting small to win potentially big.
Current big bookie marketing method. They're also showing quite a few customers in the shops. I reckon they've been brought in for the cameras. The people in the call centre and the traders look quite young to me yet they speak with such authority and experience. |

This **** of a managers beyond belief!

The best part of it is that he probably trying to come across as nice.

Spelling I hope your talking about Tony and not Stuart. The fat manager and the roulette player. Both w@nkers. |

He'll be on the breakfast show sofas within a fortnight
|

As a punter I give that a 3/10 & I'm being generous
|
|
By:
They almost certainly won't mention how most of the big firms have made their staff sign new contracts for less pay...... or be sacked.
And not to tell anyone about it (in the case of baldfred) or be sacked. |
|
By:
SF.
I think the punters are locals as I recognise them. But maybe they went in as the cameras were on. The shops had signs in the window saying that the filming was going on, so maybe it attracted a few more in. I kept well clear. |
|
By:
i reckon the only reason they put the **** of a manager on
the program was to divert away from what a **** of a man simon clare is |

Don't balme you 10 2 F
They have given the script to the BBC. I should think the producers know about as the Gambling Commission about the subject and what really happens. ie.... nothing |

This manager is a tw@t.
I wouldn't have him working for me. |
|
By:
Stu is the ideal punter. The type the bookies want. Can't do them any real harm on the few occasions he wins.
He's like having a pension. |
|
By:
Tony is what the bookies want though SF. He'll jump through hoops for the cause.

The bloke who apparently 'wins all the time' and is restricted with one firm to £500 is a liar too, real limits and restrictions are much less.
|
|
By:
What a kn0bhead that tony guy, rancid firm and industry
|
|
By:
He'll never get promoted, akabula.
He would never get as much latitude as they are portraying on this programme. |
|
By:
he did try placing a 50 at 18's,
& was knocked backed to 20 something, |
|
By:
I know that SF but he'll tow the company line.
|
|
By:
Which is why he's fronting the programme for them.
