I always go to the Strand Comedy Club in the West End for a night out when I am in Glasgow. Small club with a very good atmosphere and the standard of acts is brilliant at least on weekends when I have always went. Sometimes you will get big name comedians playing. Think its like £10 on a Saturday and cheaper other nights. There is also a bar in it beside the stage.

That's where I normally stay. The side street is called Kelvingrove Street but don't get confused.
Turn left when you come out the main entrance and it's about a fifteen/20 minutes walk if irc to the AG&M. |

I stayed there last year AKa went up for scottish greyhound derby had a great weekend unfortunately didnt get to museum till late on the sunday due to being the worse for wear
