Listening to a bit about this on radio 5 while driving a short while ago. Probably more minutes covered in the segment I heard than on the tv news. But this is getting ridiculous. The story was based around the elderly in the party being in poor health. No a single mention of kind of things they assumedly went to join up with are doing over there.

The family are saying they must have been "tricked" into entering Syria.

Perhaps they got an e-mail saying they had won the Syrian Lottery, or had attended one of those timeshare
open days when you win a free holiday just for turning up.

Give it a few days and they will be blaming the local plod, who should have stopped them at the border, and flew them back
for a tear-stained welcome return.

How the phuck can you be tricked into entering a war zone?

Soon it'll be plod's fault.

its our fault because the uk isn't moving quick enough to a total Islamic state. Some of us think its rapidly heading that way though.

There's already town centre's in the uk where virtually every takeaway/fast food place is halal Sad. I know a town centre which has 2 kfc's and both are halal only, so no big daddy burgers as it might upset certain people.

people like naydam are the problem - think deeply - they will see it a right for people to go and murder as it is an ideology.

until the day these sort of people he attempts to defend knock on his door.

This whole business can be done in a more dignified fashion that is equitable to both sides.

All those who want to go join IS can put their names down, without fear of recrimination but reminded it's a one way ticket and they forego all right as British subjects and surrender their passports.

We lay on the flights and exchange them one-for-one with genuine refugees who want to escape the war zone and the nutcases in charge.

Flights go out full and return full, and the newcomers take over the newly vacated properties.

This might help with the mess in Italy and Greece with people risking their lives for an outside chance of escaping hell.

Foreign Office desperately trying to locate these poor individuals so that they can transfer all accrued benefits to the last standing downtown Damascus financial institution. There is a taxi on its way to take the cancer sufferer back to the nearest UK NHS hospital for a consultation with her surgeon and some chemo/radio/brachio therapy and a return fare to the new family home/local IS headquarters which we will subsidise with housing benefits. The elderly gentleman will of course be picked up (along with a carer) in a specially adapted people carrier which will whisk the both of them to the local UK activities centre so that they can make exploding back-packs along with all fellow believers at the radicalised mosque which the local council seen fit to build in order to further cement local racial relations.
Meanwhile the children ... ah the children, School Attendance Officer (not sure what they're called nowadays, but probably a far left, lesbian, pinko, communist, transgendered, transvetite, gay, Islamist, athiest, enquirer of why wee scroteface couldn't make  it into school today (and do you realise he's skipped a couple of days right back to 2010 Mrs Ahmed)? is already on her way to Damascus to see if there are any further benefits which would persuade young Mohammed Scrote to come back to school for another day or two - we could even provide an RAF transporter and of course his own classroom assistant with the obligatory ipads for both of them. RAF to fly them back each day after school.
What about benefits for the adults - carers allowances, disabled living allowance, family tax credits, job seekers allowance, child benefits, unemployment benefits, esa benefits, God/Allah only knows what else, but by Allah they will know their entitlements.
Don't worry about it effendi - British people don't ... just come back some day as a tourist ... try not to wear a suicide vest

Interested to hear Naydam's response to the question asked by a poster earlier as to if he respects Lee Rigby's killers for following and acting on their beliefs.

And whilst you are at it, do you also respect the fella who killed 38 in Tunisia, the Charlie Hebdo killers and the Nazis? I assume you do as they all acted on their beliefs.

They are going to be in big trouble for this.....taking the kids out of school in term time.

Not in Barking they won't, they don't fine the asians for children's absences.

Which was why my eldest took her daughter to Spain a few years ago.

'We won't get fined.' she said.

And she was right.

Oh, and incidentally most people in the UK do do something about their ideals. Their ideals are not to go around cowardly shooting and blowing up defenceless people. And they do something about it by, er, not going around cowardly shooting and blowing up defenceless people.

Do you respect paedos for doing something about their ideals by touching up kids? I can't be bothered to go on - I assume you were just after a reaction with your comments, or otherwise you would have to be an utter moron, which I'm sure you aren't.

Still waiting for Naydam's assessment of the psychopaths that butchered Lee Rigby, and yes Roger I too will be interested in his no doubt sophisticated reinterpretation of the Nazis and their death camps. A mouth-watering read awaits us all I'm sure.

Probably to do with the measure of respect one should give to people / groups who carry out insane and inhume actions to support their strongly-held, thoroughly misguided (IMO) beliefs.

As I explained in the first place: It is relatively easy to see the attraction to young males...you get to play the ultimate shoot-em-up game with real guns.
Things become a bit more difficult to understand when there are older, infirm people involved and children, too. I suppose it all depends upon how close they all are as a family AND their reason for wishing to live under the strict regime of Islamic State. Everybody seems to assume that they are moving to Syria to join the IS militia...this may not be correct. They might just want to live their lives in a more devout Islamic manner.
As for the acts of barbarism that are happening at the hands of IS fighters, They have a lot to achieve and little time to do it. They have no diplomatic voice and their aims will not be achieved by negotiation until they are in a position of power.

Anyway, Its not my job to try to help anybody to understand these problems because I don't understand the myself. I just try to see any sense in it.

One thing I DO understand, though. Them Nazis was Christians!

Ridiculously, naydam appears to think that once in a position of power, they will be willing to negotiate. One wonders whether the Earth has ever thrown up such a halfwit.

Why don't we make it easier for them by organising air travel at a cheap, cost price.

Could even have collectors in supermarket entrances, and around town, to assist with the fund.
