Surely a lot of the items are multibuys?So you'll just get 2 packets of biscuits for your £1 instead of 3.

They want to takeover the 99p store chain and incredibly the monopoliespeople think may be against the public interest.

I should think their profits are good.All their staff have to work for free to get their JSA.

yes the pound shop is not always the cheapest but people think that way.

Yep, Many of the items on sale in our local Poundland and 99p shop are available for less in Wilkinsons in the same street.

I have to drive 10 miles to get to my local Poundland and pay £2 to park my car, it's easier to buy all my cr@p off ebay.

Please may the day never come when I fail to chuckle at Dongs of Praise.

Going back to around 2002, my missus bought a computer game from a pound shop. And then she went back and bought several more.She sold them all on ebay for good profit. I remember one selling for £52 but most went for £25 - £35

There used to $$Dollar shops in America, but a lot have Closed down, Not much you can buy for a $.
