OP has got it wrong. It's 'White Cop shoots black man'.
This is how every news channel is reporting this. This may well be a racist crime but it could be just another appalling example of Americans killing each other. They do it every day. When Jihadi John beheads white people, it's NEVER reported in the same way. When a Black Ferguson cop killed a Puerto Rican it was 'cop kills man'. The duplicity is truly astonishing. |
|
By:
No surprise to find the usual apologists and black haters attempting to justify and provide equivalence for the police officer's actions.
As for the Black Ferguson cop shooting the Puerto Rican, I don't know the circumstances. Perhaps it hasn't attracted the same attention because Blacks have not in the US, as far as I know, institutionalised racism against Puerto Ricans. |

Not sure what the rules are but it seems common place in the states for police to shoot anyone running away.

Why on earth did it seemingly take 8 shots from such a short distance at a large target to bring him down. Any second rate TV cop would have nailed him with one bullet. This cop must be the worlds worst shot !
|
|
By:
The last thing i would do when face to face with a Police officer in possesion of a gun (him/her not me)is turn 180 and run.
|
|
By:
In the video he's slowing down as he's hit a number of times by the murdering so-and-so. The dropping the 'evidence' beside him to fit the story was good to be caught on camera.
Guns should have cameras that take a picture every time the trigger is pulled, problem of made up stories would be solved. In this case: 8 pictures of a running mans back. The technology already exists, it just needs the will? |

This cop must be the worlds worst shot ! He's a normal street police officer aiming at a moving target. Did you ask the same question when the British police 'marksmen' failed to shoot dead the two scumbags that beheaded Lee Rigby? |

Rodney King would be turning in his grave. The good ole U S of A has not progressed one iota since then. Police killing citizens in USA, no statistics apparently
|
|
By:
Police shooting people in the US is common practice and very little is ever done to the cop who fires.
I think in this case the vid clip will force action but unless the authorities issue proper instructions in the use of firearms it'll happen again and again and .... |

I went into a gun store (well more like a supermarket than a store) in Miami once out of curiosity. Massive it was with wall to wall weapons of all descriptions. Automatic rifles, machine guns, revolvers, bazookas, grenades, flares, even a ******* small tank and I asked what one needed to purchase any of the weapons on display. A FLORIDA state drivers license. Americans are nuts.

I went into a supermarket last time I was in the US. There were shelves of guns, shelves of needles (for diabetes), yet there wasn't a single item on fresh food in the store.

I went into a store in Philadelphia. He sold me a gun, so I robbed him.

why did he run away??
to avoid being shot??? why are we obsessed with crime in the USA good story to divert attention I would have thought it more important to concentrate on the criminals who have run westminster the last 20 years!! |

Yes, moisok, too true.

So what should we do moisok?

There's a couple of plods who fired the same amount of shots at 2 twáts in Woolwich a couple of years ago who would struggle to beat a blind, window licking paraplegic with a firearm. |

Re: Lee Rigby
...........An Independent Police Complaints Commission investigation[76] into the use of firearms by Metropolitan Police Officers, which was published on 19 December 2013 once a verdict had been reached in the defendants' trial, concluded that the officers who had used force on 22 May 2013 had "acted entirely appropriately" and had shown "skill and professionalism".[12][77].......... In that they didn't shoot to kill ? |

first of all I would concentrate on our own problems in this country

lets have a look at what black gangs are up to in london
or what muslims are up to supporting daesh - supporting it from this country much more important how about the criminal trafficking gangs in yorkshire and london and the police cover up or non action or the criminal activities of our own politcians over the last 20 years |

I don't really get comments like this. Why can't we discuss problems in our country and this bastard policeman too? I mean, is that how you live your normal life? Someone asks you if you saw the football and you tear into them shouting "How can you think about football when someone was murdered in London yesterday?" I've seen the video and it was completely inexcusable. I hope there won't be an equally inexcusable reaction from the black community, but I hold little hope because, let's face it, every demographic group has its cretins and they love a flimsy excuse to do something cretinous. |

I went into a supermarket last time I was in the US. There were shelves of guns, shelves of needles (for diabetes), yet there wasn't a single item on fresh food in the store. ---- Second this, it can be remarkably hard it could be to find decent food in US supermarkets. Even the "fresh" sandwiches seemed to be vacuum sealed slop designed to last years in some survivalists underpants larder. |

Why did the guy run out of his car?

Exactly, the problem for the liberal media is the vast majority of killers are black so this receives a fraction of the coverage from this ONE case (even though South Africa and the US has similar historical ties to the UK). But then the average liberal considers the media value of a black township dweller to be approximately 1/10,000th the value of a white, so the same standards aren't applied. This is why the fact that the supervising officer in the Garner case was a black woman, was either glossed over or completely committed. |

Why did the guy run out of his car? Who knows maybe he had mental issues. But does running away justify being shot in the back? In days of old, shooting someone in the back was about the most cowardly thing possible. |
|
By:
in addition it is this strange fixation so many have and the media ramming it down our throats when we have many issues to deal with in this country
what is happening in the USA has fk all to do with us and then the apologists come out and moan about my point and talk about football!!??? weird isn't it!!!?? ps why did he run away go on - reply - coz he didn't want to get shot ha ha!!! what they are at is diverting us away from running our own country and discussing those issues - instead media time is taken up by issues irrelevent to us |
|
By:
When the most powerful country in the world, tied to us in a variety of important ways, appears to have a problem with police officers executing suspects, it's likely to make the news - particularly given the endless news coverage we all now endure.
'Comparing and contrasting' that coverage with deaths from violent crime in South Africa (and dragging the poor old liberal media into it again) is frankly bizarre - although it's a fun example of the desperate, muddled thinking on Chit Chat that people employ simply to make a point about race. |
|
By:
as I have said many times
the editors have a question to answer why concentrate on these sort of stories when we have our own horror stories to tell - I would have thought it was pretty obvious |
|
By:
'Obvious' is such a loaded (sic) word.
