Ugly ones have them to distract your gaze away from the face.
It's why loads of fat birds walk round with their tits hanging out.
The art of distraction is strong.
Stunning women don't need them. Ugly ones have them to distract your gaze away from the face. It's why loads of fat birds walk round with their tits hanging out. The art of distraction is strong.
somehow, getting a tattoo has become a middle class fad.
People trying to be "individual" by jumping on a bandwagon and doing the same thing as everyone else
not too dissimilar to getting an eyebrow pierced a few years ago

I worked at a place in the early 1980s where we took over another company. Their foreman got our old foreman's job, until he was spotted with his sleeves up. He lost it because he had tattoos, and when he had his longish hair cut, it revealed an ear stud.
Another example of changed times : a slaphead was called a skinhead back then, and would never have got a job in charge of anything.
Being bald, which you can't help, was different to shaving your head, that made you a 'troublemaker'.

Each to their own is my view........but really dislike those right wing political tatts that can be seen on some staunch IRA supporters, big bold images of flags etc inked onto their biceps and chest. Not really a good look for a woman IMO.

A quite unbelievable fad of the last ten years or more.
How many programmes will there be on 'My Tattoo Nightmares' on tv in ten years time?
They're already on now - but there's bound to be a glut of them in the coming years when women (especially) will be crying about how their lives have been ruined because it was somehow 'other people's fault' that they were so stupid in desecrating their bodies - and demanding help in the removal of them via the NHS.
For me, a tattoo on a woman is an instant message that says "I'm thick I am" - and nothing will ever change my mind.
They must be totally around the bend to be so gullible/stupid to do such a thing to themselves.
As Vel said: "Get a bit of paper and draw something".
Same difference, without marking yourself out for all to see as a bloody halfwit.

My mate and me went to a tattoo parlour in Blackpool in 1969 after having a few beers in 1969 for a small arm tattoo. Thank the Lord there was a long queue and we got fed up waiting. My mum would have killed me.
Having said that, there are a lot of decent people who have tattoos. Ex forumite Zelda is a prime example. A more caring person to animals would be hard to meet.

I think it's a generational thing. When I was growing up the people who wanted to project an image of not to be messed with often had tattoos. The people you really didn't want to mess with rarely had them. Now it seems to have moved on to being more about artistic expressions and some can look quite tasteful. Although being old fashioned I am put slightly mind of the term tramp stamp which would cause me to be a little unhappy if my nieces came home with one. Especially it if said, " I love cocck. The bigger the better."

If you go back to Victorian times, being very expensive, it was quite fashionable for members of the upper classes to have them.
It was only when they became relatively cheap that they became popular with the lower classes and therefore less fashionable in the upper echelons of society.

Don't wanna go blowin your chances Coach
They seem to be rife amongst 'fairly fit' younger women nowadays .. to the point they're a status symbol & you wouldn't want them without one (don't wanna lose out to their rivals) type attitude would be my psychological evaluation

Something I will never understand. Looks alright on the slutty looking type and adds to the appeal but there is nothing worse in my view seeing a very attractive woman who has decided almost permanently scar her body with some **** symbol/writing.

Just been channel flicking and came across the 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards on Channel 5+24 - Ch55 on terrestrial.
Really pretty (facially) woman was announcing an award. Her arms and most of her chest were covered in tattoos. At a rough guess, she was about 25 years old.
What's the betting she'll be crying in her soup in a few years time at how she's desecrated her body?

Met a bird once in North Wales - she said she'd never seen anything like my pen1s. She suggested that I get it tattooed with the name of that famous place in North Wales before it shrank with old age, so I did. Five pound a letter - but it was worth it. Of course, you can only read the full name when I'm aroused but I don't mind birds thinking I'm from RHYL.
