I really hope that no British people seek to take revenge on this man's family. I hope they don't burn the family house down, or attack his family members.
It's not the old British way, may be challenge them to a cricket match or game of bowls, and then down to the pub for a good old debate (which may get a little heated). But we British shouldn't be thinking about taking the law into our own hands. That's what we have elected politicians for, a free press for, unfettered TV and radio broadcasting for. That's why we all feel safe in our own country. It's because we're so British. ... and what a wonderful education system we have - what with those 3 girls being straight A students and selflessly going into a dangerous part of the world to help their friends - a real credit to the British way of doing things. The question that no-one in the media is asking : what percentage of the Peace-Loving Community of Britain actually supports this herbert, or will at the very least do nothing to stop him and his ilk? Is that 100% I hear ?
So far, for example, I haven't heard of a single case of a Peace-Lover in Britain leaving these shores to fight AGAINST Islamic State for "besmirching our great religion". And I don't think the police have been knocked over in the rush to turn in suspected radicalised Wannabe Terrorists in our midst. |

It is not illegal to be a suspected radicalised Wannabe Terrorist. So, 'turning them in' is a nonsense. If, however, you mean inform the authorities of one's suspicions, then I'm pretty sure that must go on already. How else would they know who to suspect? I'd guess that most of the security force's leads stem from 'information received'.
Obviously the informant is not going to broadcast these activities. That could be very dangerous and would end his/her usefulness. |
