The United States are the only country that has shown it has the technological and scientific and all round right stuff to travel into space...they will be first to mars and it should be claimed as their territory.

ebul let me explain this simply, should the moon or any planet fall into the pocession of an evil empire, such as Soviet Russia or Nazi Germany, or an evil religion we will all in the free world be slaves...T he moon and Mars must remain the property of the United States it is very important that these new worlds are American.

It wouldn't surprise me if humans were found to have lived on Mars but extracted every last ounce of energy and food off the planet
and the last few with high intelligence had built a rocket and moved to the Earth...but where would you move next not to a planet that looks like a desert  |

I think it would be a nice idea if the US or any other country do not claim the Moon or Mars for their
own country. Instead they claim it for the Human Race. Nationality, religion, etc, are things left behind on Earth. Everybody who can get there, is accepted as an equal, as a member of the Human Race (there will not be many). That is the right way to do this I feel. Although it has to be said nobody is rushing at the moment. We are colonising Mars with Robots at the moment. |
