I'd play anything from a freeroll to €20 although the latter is just shot taking as I'm not bankrolled for them. I played 3 last night, winning my first and losing the other 2.
I played 35 x €5 Jackpots today along with the Betfair games. I thought overall I played OK although I'm aware of a few mistakes. I made a small loss but that was caused towards the end, losing my last 6 tourneys, bubbling 2 thanks to other players hitting with rags. Counting rake back and a bonus cleared I made a small profit. I've a free trial of SnGWiz which I'll look for my ICM decisions but I think I'll play another 5 before bed. I'm happy at what I do McMoon, I make good pocket money and all at low risk. I've came from a freeroll background and that's probably why I'm a nit but I love the game. Read an interesting article about table selection and variance, it's so true and I think table selection is probably the best thing you can do to help your win rate: http://jhub3000.livejournal.com/84368.html |

that's fair enough mate I don't knock anybody's hustle & glad you enjoy the game though it'll never be what it once was & a lot of pro's have quit which shows just how tough it is nowadays
wish I could just play for pocket money but I'd need another income for that , what do you do btw you listened to the podcasts then they probably have more meaning to me as are mainly all old school stars pro's |
|
By:
I listen to a lot of Podcasts, not just poker but I can't find that feed on my Podcasting software. I'll download an episode after I've listened to my usual batch later in the week.
Played 3 and won 1 so it put me back in profit, decent volume but only 2% ROI, not a great night TBH. |

Staples going deep in the 109 .. he really plays quite badly so deep though it's almost comedy value to watch
![]() |
|
By:
He won it 19.4k
You missed a good stream last night , sat up watching Jcarver final table the Super Tuesday afterwards also |
|
By:
I've been offline for 2 days with no poker or internet and I've been pulling my hair out
![]() That's great for Staples, I like the way he answers any questions, I think by streaming he is also learning as people spot mistakes for him. He can only get better imo. I was thinking about buying SnGWiz as I know there are spots I need to work on but my trial has been extended for 6 months I now need to know how to tweak the settings to get its full use. |

Yes but requires the right connections on both your laptop and TV. The resolution is also dependant on your TV though so may not give you a good picture. I have a tablet running on my bedroom TV, it's better than using the tablet itself but not as good as my PC on my 22" monitor. You would be better asking on another thread for info.
I still haven't deposited on Unibet so good luck tonight. |
|
By:
It depends on what connections are on your PC and TV. I was about to type a long reply but done a Google, this has everything you need: http://www.wikihow.com/Connect-PC-to-TV. All laptops I've ever had have had VGA out and most TV's from the last 10 years have VGA in so it shouldn't be too hard. The more modern your laptop and TV, the easier it becomes.
My tablet has Micro HDMI out and the TV has HDMI in, it's just a matter of buying the right cable/ adapters. |

I-Poker is running like a Pigs arse today hogging up 60% of my CPU, it's went like this before and it makes the software unusable. On a thread on 2P2, I notice others are having the same problem. I won't be playing much tonight
![]() |
|
By:
King you can connect a tv to play no problem but no modern televisions are close to having the high resolution of modern day pc screens so would still be kind of Blocky , you'd be better off buying a new 27" screen if you'd like to multi table more .
I'm not an expert on screen resolutions but basically all it'd mean was that you could take a more lazy approach ![]() |

I did that King of Dubai when I was about 21. Pulled a very fit friend of my brothers after a heavy nights clubbing and ended up back at her digs in Tottenham (yes ironic I know).
Passed out when I got out of bed, fell on her t.v. and knocked it over. When I came round it literally took me a minute to remember where I was. She had a tizzy about the tv, didn't give a monkeys about me. Paid for a repair in a shop in Southgate. Didn't see her again. |

Got in touch with Unibet and got credited with a £10 free cash ticket (I was gonna deposit BTW). I'm not a cash player but I see the field is really bad and I think I'll profit from the freebie. Thanks King.
I finished 2nd in the racehorse tourney and "won" a €30 ticket but used the ticket and lost so still a net loss ![]() Losing again at the €20's on I-Poker but winning at the €5 Jackpots. My €20 record is horrendous but I like the format and I think I could do well. There are some very good players like Elky but it attracts the whales but I'm starting to think I may be one of them I'll still take shots until I'm established but will never go broke. In the Maui's I've had an 8% week so all is not lost but to win 5 in a row is almost impossible but the games are whale filled and the jackpot hit's from time to time and I've won 5 in a row before on the Pokerchamps brand. |
