Heartwarming news indeed. Let's hope he'll be able to celebrate tonight with a Morrisons roast chicken and nicely buttered Morrisons Tiger Baps.

Has Moronio declared a fatwa on the referee yet?

had a small fortune to collect on 3-2
only to see the bet somehow disappear into thin air 2-1 2-2 2-3 2-4 trouble with football betting , bugger all happens most of the time in the average game -most games mind numbingly eventless - then all hell breaks loose in a few minutes every so often - frustrating grrrr watford a prime example |

By:
eventless is actually a word btw before anyone pipes up

What a glorious day for Bradford.
The magic of the FA Cup still shines! |
|
By:
they played bloody well, Chelsea need to start searching for a replacement for JT when he retires
|
|
By:
A completely deserved win by Bradford, just watched the highlights on MOTD and that was no fluke. Great stuff.
|

Thanks lads, I'll pass your messages on.
We can play some brilliant football at times. Take the win in the last round when we thumped Millwall 4-0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8UyQREeT6k |

Leicester's second goal to knock out the spuds is a doozy

Brdadford were brilliant pumps, a potential banana skin for you lot against Bristol City tomorrow afternoon. West ham @ 2.04, I'm tempted I must say as that looks big to me.

It's been a brilliant day for football today.
Well done all the 'minnows' who've really shown the 'big boys' how to play. |
|

The mighty Eagles soon, Alan Pardew 4 wins out of 4
Away to Southampton looked a very difficult game but we played very well. |
|

A great day indeed. And it even forced my hand to make an unexpected visit to the football forum to add my voice of sanity to the Stoke thread.
|
|
By:
hahahaha Alun!
I'll have to take a look! |
|
By:
Pardew has come a long way since the "Pardew is a Muppet" banners that graced St Mary's earlier this season. I made good money flogging those.

5 goals in 30 bloody seconds of highlights

Just read your contribution on the Stoke Haters thread, Alun.
Very funny - as is Joci Club's precis of what happened in the Chelsea v Bradford match! |
|
By:
I'll check it out TT.
Was the Bradford win a bigger shock that Colchester 3-2 Leeds back in around '71 ? |
|
By:
Although I don't generally like female presenters on football programmes, and I am no fan of Gabby, she's doing a better job than Lineker imo, far more incisive and pertinent in her questioning of the 2 guys Jermaine and Robbie who have both done a good job, particularly Jermaine.
|
|
By:
That was a massive shock, alun, I was distraught for a week.
|
|
By:
I think because Chelsea are almost definitely the number one club in the Prem this year, Bradford's beating of them - from two behind, at Stamford Bridge 2-4 must surely be the greatest shock ever?
I wonder what Chelsea were trading at at 2-0 up? Surely a 1.01? |
|
By:
I'm too excited to sleep. I want to make some more banners about football managers who are muppets.
Quite a list to be getting on with after today's results. And I'll make sure they will be available in all good bookshops later this week. And a few bad ones too. |
|
By:
Kenny - yes that was a horrible boyhood day for me.
Tommy - thousands were done at 1.01 and upward. See Horse Racing forum thread about '1.01 in dire trouble' or similar. |
|
By:
of course 1.01, Tommy. would have traded at less if available.
I only missed about 10 home matches in the glory years, alun. |
|
By:
Nice. I was a long-distance fan in my boyhood days.
