Me too, Bodil.

I bought some brew from Iceland last week which contains rum and coconut - which I'm just finishing off at the moment.
Love the rum - abhor the coconut.
Have tried to disguise the flavour with coke and ice.
It's not working very well.

Yeuk to coconut!

It's ASTOUNDINGLY good for you ya numpty...I bought some coconut in a block a few weeks ago - ate some yesterday and it had turned a bit rancid - tasted like blue cheese. But...it's harder to find a healthier food than fresh coconut : A ready cure for stomach problems, such as stomach problems caused by rancid coconut. Hoorah!
Report Tommy Toes • January 14, 2015 12:39 AM GMT
hahahaha!

But it tastes bleedin' 'orrible, Vel!

In fact, it always tastes rancid!

Sorry, TT -- calling BODIL a NUMPTY there - certainly NOT you -- you are merely an UTTER DONUT for yeuking the coconut! Angry
Report Tommy Toes • January 14, 2015 12:41 AM GMT
I hope it isn't a coconut flavoured utter donut!
Report Velasquez • January 14, 2015 12:41 AM GMT
Tommy and Bodil - you have forced me to post COCONUT RESEARCH on my new FERMENTED VEG THREAD.
Report Tommy Toes • January 14, 2015 12:43 AM GMT
hehehe!

I only bought this brew because it was so long since I've had anything coconut I thought maybe I wouldn't mind it anymore - or even, maybe, like it now.

Not a Jack Palance!

That was great Tommy - it gave me an excuse to bump up my failing thread. If it continues to die on its ar$e I will just have to persevere until people fall into line, saving the NHS millions of pounds.

You bastards!
Report bodil • January 14, 2015 1:03 AM GMT
kimchi  -  Satan's second worst bodily exudate after cheese (= smegma).  Did I mention you were bastards?
Report Velasquez • January 14, 2015 1:05 AM GMT
Haven't tried it but I saw it on The Hairy Bikers in Korea...looked good...
Report bodil • January 14, 2015 1:09 AM GMT
That was a surprisingly sane reply, Vel.  I've stood down the eternal-hope-destroyers.    For the time being.
Report bodil • January 14, 2015 1:13 AM GMT
Distant memories.  That's the key.

Even though they may be/certainly are false.

Yass...the coconut has all kinds of benefits. The more coconut I eat, the less I post on this forum. Thin and Crispy sent me a fresh coconut last week, through the post. It cost £15 to deliver. I've asked him to send me vouchers in the future, so I can double up coconut-wise with money left over for Younger's Sweetheart Stoute brewed in Alloa.

Stoute??

I SO miss the flat season! Cry

... the horror ... the horror ...
Report Velasquez • January 14, 2015 1:20 AM GMT
I saw that in the TV guide somewhere...have I missed it??
Report bodil • January 14, 2015 1:23 AM GMT
No - everything comes around again.  And again.

Mum here still has a very expensive injection in her eyeball every couple of months for WMD.  She reads and watches TV just fine, so I guess it's working.  No wonder the NHS is going bust.  I'm surprised the government hasn't sent a hit-man after her.  With her 3 pensions included, she must be one of the top 100 most expensive items of UK state expenditure.
Report bodil • January 14, 2015 1:50 AM GMT
Or is it?

"No matter how fine the play, the last Act is always bloody." Pascal.

I am genuinely disappointed at the response to these FERMENTED VEG threads...perhaps hardcore degenerate gamblers just ain't interested in health after all.
Report bodil • January 14, 2015 2:13 AM GMT
Any GOOD gambler will be, at best, indifferent to fermented vegetables.
Report bodil • January 14, 2015 2:16 AM GMT
Hang on Vel - I'm missing for a while.  I'd love to club them all like whining baby seals.
Report Velasquez • January 14, 2015 2:22 AM GMT
You need a heart of flesh to replace that heart of stone...good night, brother Bodil.

You say this but...for nothingness to exist...it has to BE...it has to BE...Aristotle...

Because of its strong antioxidant properties and health benefits, the coconuts can be used to:

    • Lower cholesterol
    • Improve digestion
    • Ward off wrinkles
    • Stabilize glucose levels
    • Fight off viruses
    • Build cells
    • Regulate hormones
    • Increase thyroid production
    • Lose weight
    • Increase metabolism
    • Fight infections
    • Stave off memory loss
    • Kill bacteria
    • And more!

Jeez - these are some claims!
Report Velasquez • January 14, 2015 2:34 AM GMT
And that's just coconut! Shocked

How can you HATE coconut??
