For those anti-UKIP, at what point would they suggest the country is overcrowded?
Is there such a point? |
By:
injera, immigration is a red herring, trumpeted at every opportunity to dstract people away from UKIP´s real corporate agenda which is large scale privatisation; and leaving the EU so that corporations can do what they want (TTIP) and workers in the UK will no longer have any employment protection.
By:
Just for a moment forget about the immigration question, then look at UKIP again....see anything you like?

TiptheOdds knows.

'Large scale privatisation'?
UKIP didn't privatise British Rail, BP, BT, the water, gas and electric companies. They didn't bring in PFI or private cleaners in the NHS. Mandelson wanted Royal Mail privatised and Cameron did it for him. Privatisation has been with us for some time.... Leaving the EU can make us far more competitive if it's handled correctly. We have products Europe wants. They sell us more than we export. We matter to them. No need for political union with a customer. Look at China. I believe it's the bigges importer into Europe. That's impressive ![]() |
By:
Was thinking the same, what's left to be privatised let alone on a "large scale"?
![]() |
By:
Just think of anything still controlled by the state or local government.

Where did I say there was anything to like about any other party?
By:
then look at UKIP again....see anything you like?
yes especially no students fees for those studying a science, medicine, technology and maths at uni guaranteed job for those leaving the forces with either the police, prison service or border agency inheritance tax abolished exit of the common fisheries policy and reinstatement of British territorial waters abolish live export of animals for slaughter repeal the bedroom tax there's a few I like but there are a few others also |
By:
So the immigration issue is just an added bonus for you?
Well done on the research I wonder how many UKIP voters when asked for reasons to vote for UKIP would come up with those reasons? |
By:
I like their military idea. Basically:
'We won't go poking our nose into wars that can't be won, but bring trouble to our door and we shall beat the living **** out of you' Just how it should be. |
By:
inheritance tax abolished
exit of the common fisheries policy and reinstatement of British territorial waters abolish live export of animals for slaughter All winners for the working class voters looking to make ends meet. |
By:
I also like the fact that HS2 will be scrapped
jail sentences will be served full term parole not an automatic right a britdisc where foreign drivers have to buy a license that will help cover the disparity in fuel costs and the upkeep of roads prisoners will not get the vote repeal the Agency Workers Directive still more if you want them |
By:
..........and the immigration thingy just as an added bonus eh?
By:
prisoners will not get the vote
fuck me I never realised that! Go Nige that'll learn em. |
By:
you asked if there was anything else I like..............I have given them to you, to be honest I do not have to justify to, you or anyone else, what policies I like/dislike or who I vote for.
would you like some more? they won't include immigration so you might be disappointed. |
By:

What's the big controversy of having a more strict immigration policy like the USA or Australia where you simply cherry pick the best to come here?
Are we not already weighed down by home grown riff-raff? |
By:
300+ posts on a QT thread, this is like the old days.

What's the big controversy of having a more strict immigration policy like the USA or Australia Nothing the point I'm making is the only reason the vast majority of people will vote for UKIP is immigration and are largely ignorant about anything else they stand for |
By:
ex forces to be given a service card fast tracking them to social housing and medical treatment
abolish green taxes child benefit restricted to first 2 children foreign aid will continue but only for healthcare initiatives, inoculations and green water projects and still not a mention of immigration, are you stamping your feet yet? |
By:
I actually love mass immigration. The people it's hurt the most are 99% Labour voters. So you would have to think they got what they voted for.
They must be really pleased for the future they have secured for their kids. |
By:
Say (Man of ther people) Nige fell under a bus. Do you think this would effect their election chances? or would some other charasmatic figure step up, say Niel Hamilton?
By:
In your own time
sorry I am disabled I cannot type as fast as most |
By:
Mentally?
By:
I cant stand Farage but he is a vote winner. He isnt a man of the people, but he does a fair impression of one. UKIP would lose an awful lot of votes with Hamilton in charge.
By:
you don't make yourself look good with insults like that thin and crispy
By:
Well done Thin and Crispy. Lost that argument with an appalling slur.

Without the working class vote UKIP can only go after Tory seats. Immigration and the effects on their lives is the number 1 issue why working class people will vote for Nige and they are voting for Nige. Put some of the other swivel eyed loons up and see how far they get.
By:
A. What makes you think I'm trying to make myself look good.
B. Whats wrong with being mentally disabled? |
By:
I think this has run it's course
By:
Define 'working class'.
Immigration keeps wages low, places strain on the NHS, schools and roads. It keeps demand ahead of supply in housing thus it's inflationary. Immigration damages the employment chances of young people. All of these things greatly affect the traditional Labour voter. If I was Farage I would forget Tory seats and target Labour strongholds. |
By:
UKIP will repeal the Climate Change Act 2008 which costs the economy £18bn a year.
UKIP supports a diverse energy market including coal, nuclear, shale gas, geo-thermal, tidal, solar, conventional gas and oil. - Wot no wind?? UKIP supports the development of shale gas There will be no new subsidies for wind farms and solar arrays. UKIP will abolish the Department of Energy and Climate Change and scrap green subsidies. UKIP will let the British parliament vote on GM foods UKIP supports a benefit cap We will repeal the Human Rights Act and replace it with a new British Bill of Rights. UKIP opposes ‘plain paper packaging’ for tobacco products and minimum pricing of alcohol Businesses should be able to discriminate |

Immigration damages the employment chances of young people. All of these things greatly affect the traditional Labour voter. I agree with all of that. I repeat the point I'm making is that for the vast majority of people the only reason they will vote for UKIP is because of immigration and because Farage heads the campagain. Take away one of those and it all falls apart. |
By:
Tbf, the vast majority don't vote based on a whole shopping list of items.
By:
Why would anyone listen to any manifesto pledge? Look at Cameron before the last election. He promised:
Cast iron referendum. Nope Bonfire of the Quangos. Nope Rip up the Human Rights Act. Nope He never mentioned: Gay marriage. Yep. Well done Dave |
By:
Did Dave C promise a guaranteed referendum on EU exit in this parliament? Not saying you are wrong, just would like a link to an unambiguous statement.

The audience member that laid into Brand really showed him up for what he is - a hypocritical, leftie, dim-witted, obnoxious, crass, champagne drinking, multimillionaire, socialist bellend. Car crash tv for Brand. Great watching that smug grin disappear as he was getting his a$$ed ripped wide open. Look like he'd been donkey punched.
The ugly, UAF, blue-haired, leftie, nutjob, shouting insults and issuing threats, typifies the sort of idiots that seem to think Brand is the new messiah and will only further the public's support for UKIP and Farage. |
