Ok, for 1 week only I am going to put up my earnings from my job and all my expenses (excluding food and drink)

I shall include the hours I have worked day by day until next Monday. Personally I don't feel the wage I bring in is worth the hours I do, so a few opinions would be good.

Cheers

cmat's post reminds me of a couple of scaffolders arguing at work last week.

"Your missus has shagged Arthur hasn't she?"

"Arthur who?"

"Arthur fooking Leicester"

It was new one for me.

Does that not work out at twice the minimum age and a bit more?  Do you need qualifications or any skills to do your job?

Seems like your doing alright to me if you don't mind working back shift

No qualifications no, all you need is a driving licence .. yesterday was an exceptional day, I doubt today will be the same.

I am not bringing tax into this, as I only pay my tax every January it's pretty pointless adding it to this little 1 week challenge. I just want to see if other people think it's worth doing this job. Ive hated the job for 7 years now ... just works out that the very day I stick this up I have one of the busiest days in a long time, sods law.

This should be a `Guess what my job is?" fred.

My guess is that you are a courier of some sorts, with your own van. 10 hours driving = £75 expenses(petrol/van costs calculated) and 2 hours loading unloading?

Do i win a prize?

lol, Ive put up before the job I do, but no, you don't win a prize as I don't do what you said ... My expenses were as follows, £6 Insurance, £10 Hire Purchase payment per day (£320 per month), £17 per day rental contract to obtain clients and also £42 fuel.

Ive had 4½ hours sleep today, it's not going to be a good day. I am going to go to work now seeing as I am up .. report back later

And at £20.45/hr I reckon that's 4 clients/hr at £5 each and a tip. I'd double up on the prices, even tramps charge a tenner for a hand-job round my way.

First bit of financial advice. You are being ripped off by paying for 32 days on your Hire Purchase.
