Although i would like to categorically state i have never been a rapist. There was this time in London when i got followed by a bloke...shudder. If i'm still around these parts in the new year i might share the story. To answer the OP question, and not the link... I was/am a skilled baker by trade. Unfortunately had to leave the profession (a life time ago now) when i developed asthma from a flour allergy. Cruel cruel world  |

Which strangely enough was what my first High school teacher - one Miss Duckworth from somewhere around Bradford way - or something like that - Yorkshireish anyway - took me to one side after class one day and said I should be, when I was about 12. |

That figures I suppose. My job is to support people with learning disabilities. Some have physical disabilities also, such as cerebral palsy. Best job in the world  |

Can only imagine trying to write for a living in this day and age is a virtual impossibility.
Book publishers won't look at anything unless it is something to with celebrity culture. TV companies and what was once known as Fleet Street have undergone massive a redundancy programme during the past decade. Most newspaper jobs are given to graduate internees who are usually shown the door after their first six months or , with luck, maybe a year. Those on here who wanted to earn their living as writer, don't know how lucky they are to have escaped the egocentric rat-race - it's even worse than the acting profession! |
