The Yes attitude of sending mobs to make sure alternative views just aren't heard really is 30s Beerhall stuff from an earlier bunch of Nationalists

Maybe there were just more of them to start with, or had you failed to consider that? As for the 1930s mob, previous threads have shown that your politics are more closely aligned with them than anything else in Scotland is.

The YES campaigners showing their class in Kirkcaldy where Jim Murphy was pelted with eggs as was one of their own, a cancer sufferer, who asked them to stop. Later in Montrose a group of OAPs were subjected to verbal abuse for wearing NO badges and speaking up for the Union. The violence has obviously struck a cord with the Belfast pub.
Alias I have replaced my Union Flag with the Maribor badge in honour of sporting integrity but it will return next week and as regards the Irish I was, of course, ignoring their foreign neighbours the Oirish. HTH.
BETTER TORYGETHER

ONE man hit Murphy with ONE egg.

And you have the nerve to accuse others of insults?

Come on akabula, once again, which one is YOU in this video of NICE No supporters?

I was actually wondering why the the forum serial liar and troll Alias wasn't jumping in, avoiding any actual points, and as usual accusing me of being a fascist, merely becauise I oppose his beloved commuism.
In his tiny mind to oppose communism makes you a fascist.
Fact: I'm a liberal who fiercely opposes fascism and communism.
Fact: Alias is fine with communism. He's an apologist for Stalin and the mass murder of millions.
A sad predictable ageing little troll. I see you're trying the same tricks with akabula, constantly playing the man not the ball, avoiding inconvenient facts, in between random rants about the tories like political tourettes. You're a bit of a one trick pony?

In response to John and conductor I was just about to post how refreshing it was to see a friendly respectful discussion on the BF forum which didn´t sink into childish personal attacks...:-(

TipTheOdds I'm sorry but any thread I appear on Alias has a habit of popping up and starting his trolling ****, that was a reaction to him. He's a troll just look at how he tries to get others going, and I have no itnention of further arguing with him as I'm above that, BUT I will not let the pathetic little mans attempt to smear me as a fascist stand in case others actually believe him.

I am expecting a no vote and will be disappointed on the 19th. I have been looking at flights for a couple of days away, just vote then head to the airport. Once I come back it will be over and I will let it go. I won't be asking who voted what way afterwards to cast it up when 'the big bad tories' do something else. It's not my style. We all need to get on afterwards and I'll happily buy 95% of people a pint..... as I have said there are utter cretins on both sides.

I don't like being lumped in with loudmouth halfwits and no voters wouldn't like that either. There is a public meeting with Jim Sillars and Alex Neil in my village next week and I will raise this.

I must admit for personal reasons that I seriously object to allegations of 'scalding hot tea' being thrown without proof or retraction and my anger about that, and the Galloway comment, leads me to ignore somebody, not a dfference of politics.

Just to demonstrate that violence is not restricted to one side, here´s a story about an 80-year-old pensioner who was attacked because he supported the Yes campaign:

Probably this story won´t be given the same publicity as Murphy´s egg...

Scroll back JC, and you'll likely find that I was on the thread before you.

Show me any post which I've ever made apologising for Stalin. As for Communism per se, well your political education is sadly lacking if you think Stalin was a Communist. However, do you blame the peoples of Russia, Vietnam etc for turning to Communism when they did? Yes or no will suffice.
A sad predictable ageing little troll. I see you're trying the same tricks with akabula,

Maybe better check with akabula ref the "ageing" bit as he claims to be in the same bracket. Does it have to go with "sad" by the way? As for troll, see above. You were here second.

constantly playing the man not the ball, avoiding inconvenient facts, in between random rants about the tories like political tourettes. You're a bit of a one trick pony?

Your last sentence is obviously a statement, and as such does not require a question mark. Are you perhaps one of those sad, young trolls who insists on AQI, as well as peddling unnecessary insults?

PS Have you considered that the Murphy case might have been an example of agent provocateur? Or do you really believe that the interests of HM Govt are promoted to the letter of fairness?
