I'm with her all the way.
I've had enough of mobile phones, the world was a better place without them! |
|
By:
Don't get me wrong, they're great for emergencies, BUT it's the way people abuse them that really pisses me off!
|
|

I am taking my camera to her show - very old school

Everywhere you go people are on their phones (even driving.... still)! My family visit and my son -in-law and grandson sit there on their i-phones, tablets.......we are doomed!
|
|
By:
....thankfully my daughters and grandaughters chat to each other, drink tea and scoff the cake I have made that morning! Bless.

Agree.....but talk about out out touch with the world in 2014 .....good luck with one.

bring back analogue
at least everything seemed in real time mobiles and internet are slowly killing the world as we know it and people are spending fortunes online thinking they getting it cheap. In short a DIY society. |

So you agree but disagree 626?
|
|
By:
No ,I agree with her .
But hundreds if not thousands will ignore her words and film constantly . |

Came back from hols today, going through Dartford Tunnel, a girl probably late teens looking at her phone , never looked up for the 50 or so yards we pulled alongside her, I am amazed there are not hundreds of motoring fatalities on a weekly basis

A phone is bad enough but if some ****er was in front of you obscuring your view holding up a big tablet, I think you'd be justified by taking it off them and letting them see the error of their ways, suppository style.

i have a mobile but never take it out with me. anybody would think that was illegal. when i said that to my gp clinic the woman looked at me like i was mental.
|
|
By:
she the said well whats the point having one then?
daft argument imo. i have lots of things i never take out with me. i never take the toaster out with me for a start. |
|
By:
I saw a bus driver going along in London looking down at his phone then doing a selfie.
went right past a bus stop where people were waiting. Amazing ! |

first person to pull a phone out to take a pic will get pulped by the audience - who's feeling brave?
|
|
By:
I just don't see the point of filming it, or taking pics etc.
The quality wouldn't be very good, and it won't be long before you could see it on DVD, or YouTube for free. |
|

How bloody annoying is when you're trying to have a conversation with your mate, and he keeps getting text messages which he feels the need to reply to!

i dont have a clue why anybody would go to a kate bush concert, but each to their own i suppose
i read that you wont be able to get in without photo id proving you own the ticket you bought. unless theyve changed that, that will cause utter chaos. who takes their passport to a concert?? crackers. |
|
By:
Don't get it myself, but if folks are paying top dollar to go and see her they should be able to film if they want.

Will be an uphill battle imo

I agree with her view, but its clearly about the fact that she cannot sing anymore.
She should had put it on the tickets, no filming or photos, this is a music concert. ps the dvd will be available for 29.99 on the way out. |

I wanted to pass a continental lorry on the M62.
He was in the middle lane but kept drifting to the outside lane, so I held back and picked my moment to go past. He was laid back like he was in his sitting room, with only his knees on the wheel, and looking down at what I couldn't see, but it had to be a mobile! |
|
By:
I see this all the time. People driving along a busy road at 40mph, staring at their mobiles.
8 times out of 10 it's a woman under 30 |
|
By:

The mandatory penalty for using a mobile while driving should be a 12 month ban.
|
|
By:
The people I'm talking about are probably texting or looking at the internet which is worse than making a call. Their eyes are off the road, looking down, for several seconds at a time
|
|
By:
Don't really see the problem with people taking a camera to get a couple of photos but anybody who pays that much for tickets to film the whole thing on a tiny screen is an idiot.
The mandatory penalty for using a mobile while driving should be a 12 month ban. No it shouldn't. It pales in comparison to someone pissed behind the wheel or driving dangerously. |

No it shouldn't. It pales in comparison to someone pissed behind the wheel or driving dangerously. No it doesn't. |

actually it causes people to drive dangerously, twelve month ban would be well in order imo |
|
By:
A number of things cause a person to drive dangerously and when they do they get a twelve month ban but using a mobile phone whist driving is not on a par with drink driving or dangerous driving.
|
|
By:
When someone on their mobile smashes into the back of you at speed while you're sat at a red light on a busy high street. I'd say that's more than dangerous.
I was the victim and that event alone changed my life, for the worse. If i knew then what i know now ![]() Forget 3 points and a fine. I'd throw away the key if an accident occurs because of their selfish actions. |
