I've just looked him up and he did play 3 times in the 70 WC - "where he gained the distinction of becoming the first England player to be substituted at a World Cup". |

Just look at that coin of Newton! Can't believe they don't have numerous Jeff Astles in close up though! Glad also to see that my old memory banks didn't fail me then - as they were blue and white packets the coins came in. |

there is a bronze set on Ebay by Franklin Mint and even that is fetching naff all

I managed to lay my hands on 5 full boxes of stickers for nowt. Put them on Ebay in batches of 50, some people paid over retail price for them plus postage
