I was campaigning when thatcher got in (when I was working for unicef according to your lies and smears northernliar). Unfortunately people had got fed up with the antics of some union leaders and change was inevitable. We just couldn't prevent people voting against a very good left wing female MP.
What is ironic in a weirdly totally opposite wing of politics is that people are now fed up with the current parties and want an alternative. So a shake up may be on its way. Does anyone see the irony in this. We have seen the Labour party abandon any shred of socialism so it can get elected!!! What does it do when it gets elected?? It screws the country. Ukip isn't what is needed, but my dream of an equal country ain't going to happen in my lifetime. |

The 7 million figure was more to do with keeping the National Debt/borrowing at a sustainable level.

No AG closing the coal mines was not a NET FISCAL POSITIVE. Foreign competitors were heavily subsidising coal. British coal mining was the most productive and cost effective in the world. Thatcher should have matched foreign subsidy were needed rather than put hundreds of thousands on the dole and welfare dependent and create generations of a new underclass. How much does putting hundreds of thousand on benefits for life, and their children, and their childrens children cost the taxpayer.
Though British coal mining was superior the Germans, French, Poles etc still have their industries, are still being heavily subsidised, and employ hundreds of thousands. Ours was destroyed and we pay former employees benefits. |

Don't start with immigration.
Immigrants go were the work is, mainly the London area. They do not go to industrial wastelands of the former colliery towns in Wales and the North of England. No ex miner is going to get finance to move to London to empty bins or clean offices on minimum wage. |
