yes I see the petition thread has been removed so that's me finished here. I will just post Slippy's and my own Placepot selections for the rest of the current competition as usual, not much of my betting is done with these now anyway as their software is too unstable so I started using betd@q a while ago. Slippy would be ecstatic, if he new people were lobbying for his reinstatement!
I had a direct e-mail to Alex and his team, but somehow I now don't! Please all, report the thread using reason "other", and request for his reinstatement. Alex is not involved with the forum anymore. Betfair have installed a new forum manager who's name I wont mention. His initials are SM. He's a good bloke and having spoke to him in the past I'm fairly sure he will reconsider Slippy's ban. |

not sure if boycotting is the answer. We should be bombarding them to ask why a well liked and benign member of the forum has been expelled for a triviality.

How rediculous has this all turned out to be? - I am the last person to be infatuated by celebrity status.......I speak as I find, regardless of who or what people are. On this occasion that's exactly what I did regarding my comment to Slippy. Tough.

I just want to say I'm completely overwhelmed by all the support I have got from everyone. In no way is there a racist bone in my body, I was just voicing an opinion on that thread about an interview on horse racing which I felt was a valid one. I had no idea it would have led me to have my forum rights suspended though which was a way beyond harsh decision. Thanks one and all for cheering me up! Especially to egner, I absolutely love Running To Stand Still! |
