slippy doesnt hate the welsh,infact he positively loves them when they update him on trap challenges etc on the dogs forum!(lazy s0d is always "busy" and unable to count himself apparently) but we update him anyway cos hes a top bloke!

Let me get this clear. Is this the comment that Slippy has been banned for?
"Seriously, how he ever got the gig just defies belief. A complete and utter embarrassment to the sport." If I had made the same comment about Rishi and found myself banned for it I would see it as defamation of my character. People have sued for defamation over being called a racist and won. Betfair mods, there is nothing racist about Slippy's comment. He is one of the most inoffensive betfair posters. Please bring him back. |

just looked at the julian wilson rip thread and yes dewey did attack slippy last week for no good reason....but wouldn't have thought there was a connection with that and calling persad an embarrassment.

Just pointing out that I am definately NOT involved in Slippy's ban situation. Yes - I did take umbrage over a non-related comment he made recently, that I felt was flippant and degrading in the circumstances. Not the worst I've read on these forums by far and certainly not worth worrying about. Somebody however, felt he had crossed the line somehow - what that was all about I have no idea.

I would suggest a 'Spartacus' type protest whereby everyone starts threads labelling Persad a disgrace to the sport, on the understanding that it would be ludicrous to ban us all. But I suspect TPTB would like that very much and see it as an opportunity to finally bring down the shutters on this place. |

An absolute disgrace, a decision on a par with United employing David Moyes.
As the other Palace fan on here, I now feel like I have been orphaned by Betfair's ridiculous ruling, Slippy Blue banned and larrence not seen for ages. I suggest the relevant person at Betfair get their finger out of wherever it currently is swiftly and reinstate Slippy Blue immediately, the Forum needs him...! |

Dewey is ok and I wouldn`t think for a minute that she reported him. And in her defence, regards the other thread, she just misinterpreted slippy`s remarks which were made in jest regarding Julian`s alleged libido and thought they were derogatory towards someone who had just died. She is just infatuated by celebrity status, which is not rare in the UK, and overreacted. Give the lass a break. Glad they done away with the death penalty.
