"Escape Plan" is a new prison-break movie starring both Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Trust me this is without any doubt the biggest pile of do da I have ever had the misfortune to watch.Be amazed if anyone rates it. Utter utter garbage. Has anyone seen this film and want to defend it? |

it is impossible to defend any film that has either Sylvester Stallone or Arnold Schwarzenegger in it imo

Titanic was visually impressive, but sit there and listen to the dialogue only without watching the scenes, then convince me it wasn't a pile of absolute shoighte

I watched bits and pieces of 'Hush' last night.
I missed the first 10 minutes. An HGV1 driver had kidnapped a girl [presumably at a service station)on the M1. By the time I tuned in, for some obscure reason her boyfriend (played by a bloke who use to be a teacher in Waterloo Road) had his hands secured with a cable tie and was running towards the service station shops area. He was being pursued by a big bloke in a black coat and hoodie. It helped his cause that the bloke walked as slow as a zombie, as they are depicted in films. A ludicrous scene with two coppers in the khazis followed the 'chase'. I tuned out. When I tuned back in the bloke was at the drivers yard. He seemed daft enough to have only 2 vehicles, but a yard the size of Wembley Stadium, all protected by laser activated floodlights. As the camera panned about I saw a crane that had been parked with a container on its hook, in the air. It was now 1.01 that it would be dropped on the driver before the end of the film. I tuned out and went back in with about 5 minutes to go. The bloke sent the driver to the wrong vehicle with some gadgetry used in mobile phones. In a floor space that was 40 feet by 8 feet, in a field the size of Wembley, yet that was exactly where he stopped. What were the odds of that? The bloke then dropped the container on him as he stood there motionless. I'm glad I never bothered to watch it all. |

As a student I worked at a cinema. The main screen had a 900 capacity and most Fridays the weeks big release would open in there to a full house. On opening night for the film 'Straight Talk' (1992), a Dolly Parton vehicle, there was precisely no-one in there. So I sat and watched it, alone. All I can say is they knew.
I've just checked its IMDB rating, a very generous 5.5 |

At the risk of death threats, I have to say Star Wars.
I went to see it as a kid with mates and at age 9, yeah it was ok. Saw it when it was re-released after 20(?) years as the wife loves it. It's the only time I've slept in a cinema. |

In The Cut 2003 (starring Meg ryan and Jennifer Jason Leigh). 5.3 on IMDb
Slipstream 2007 (starring and directed by Anthony Hopkins). 5.1 on IMDb I'd rate both films as a 2 or 3 at best and I tend toward generosity. |
