Oh no, sorry, my mistake, Going Overboard starring Adam Sandler.

Absolutely diabolical. Some films are so bad they're good, but Going Overboard is so bad it's bad. It's like watching a 90 minute car crash.

Any Simon Pegg/Nick Frost film is guaranteed to be sh1t, but special mention must go to Shaun Of The Dead, and Hot Fuzz, which were particularly bad. These 2 should always be near the top of any lists.

Too many to mention, but I really hated

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Analyse This
Sky Captain and The World Of Tomorrow

and of course, those Fokker films, FFS.

Antichrist.
I believe it was called an 'arty' film.
It was crap.
Only 3 in the cast, and of those was an infant.
But if you like weird, including a close up of a woman cutting off her own clitoris with scissors, you'll probably enjoy it.
As for the ending, I have no idea what was going on.

agree with Gabriel re anything with Clive Owen in it. Also agree with the OP as I had to suffer this on several occasions myself some years ago.
However I noted an interesting online review:

"Anyway, to make a long and painful story short, there's almost no motivation for any of the characters in this story to do anything at all. Somehow Mr. Conductor (not an Awdry creation) is running out of gold dust, which will somehow make his "universe" fall apart. There's no mention as to why supplies would dwindle to nothing when it's the only thing holding Sodor together - Mr. Conductor is pretty irresponsible if you ask me. He summons his idiot brother who is no help at all, and together they and the rest of the characters stumble on the answer and save the day in a completely underwhelming conclusion.

Your kids may enjoy the railroad scenes, but don't watch this movie unless you want your brains to leak out of your head and turn to mush. The models are great, but the acting and writing are ridiculous. Avoid at all costs!!!"

Another vote for Tree of Life. I came out of the cinema shaking with anger at the time I had wasted watching it.

The Road and Signs also complete wastes of space.

Attempted to watch Vikingdom the other day. Unbelievably appalling pile of sh1te "starring" Craig Fairbrass. Had to turn it off after half an hour. Certificate 18 yet ironically would only really appeal to under 10's. Bad costumes, sets, CGI, dialogue, acting - It's a must see.

I saw one the other night called The Box, it had Cameron Diaz in it so I thought it would be at least watchable... it was really ****g abysmal, I actually found myself laughing out loud several times at a)how truly awful it was and b)how seriously it took itself

Wasn't that some guff about a box that she could take £1m out of but if she did someone somewhere was going to die as a result? Sounded terrible so gave it a wide berth.

Paranormal Activity (the first one, couldn't bear to watch any other)

Was told this was as scary as the Exorcist when that first came out so sat down my cellar , pitch black apart from the film on my monitor , and I kid you not I simply couldn't find ONE instance where not only was I not scared but where I was SUPPOSED to be scared , yet in the previews all you see is people in the audience with hands over there eyes shrieking , if somebody can walk it through with me and point out where the scary bits are I would be grateful.

And how in all that is holy it has manged to spawn the number of sequels is beyond me.

The Mexican. The worst film I have watched at a cinema. Considering the cast, it was an absolute shocker.

I was also disappointed with American Hustle, considering the hype.
