Great stuff eaglewardy, good to know a fellow Betfair man was at Anfield that unforgettable night. I wasn't at Villa Park but that was an incredible game and like you say we got our revenge in no uncertain manner. Ian Wright started out playing for my local club Dulwich Hamlet by the way, what a find he turned out to be Happy

I was at the S.C.G. when Brian Lara scored his 277, I have never seen a better batting performance like it in all my years and one of the best test series I've ever seen. Curtley Ambrose won player of the series, he was absolutely magnificent as well.

Slippy,our paths may have crossed many times then if you went to see a lot of games.After I left school in 86 I went all over watching the Palace til I moved abroad in 98.Was totally hooked from the first game my old man took me to in 79.Usual fortnightly routine was the palace home game then off to catford dogs,those were the days.
