The poor thing was doing his ant stuff but I swatted the thing, I wish I hadn't now but it was a sharp reaction. I'll never go to heaven at this rate Sad

don't tread on an ant, he's done nothing to you, there might come a day when he's treading on you

If it's any consolation there are billions of the little critters. Someone said that there are a million of them for every human!
I don't know how he counted them as move so fast and all look the same!

Your ant is unlikely to be alone, as they leave a pheromone trail for the others to follow, so you will soon have hundreds to deal with.

He looked friendly bito, I missed the flop so was a bit annoyed hence the squashing. I had to take it out on someone. The ant got it between the eyes.

I never tell porky pies The Leopard, on here or in life in general. I think folks on here know me by now that I'm honest in what I post. I squashed an ant on my screen earlier when I was playing poker and I'm not proud of that fact but I did it nonetheless. If that make me a bad person them so be it, I'll take the flak..

Ants have many genetically identical brothers and sisters so no need to worry as you would if you had killed a human .....who are usually genetically unique...

I was moving some things in my house today and disturbed a rather large spider. I deftly managed to put a glass over the spider and then slid a piece of paper underneath to ensure he could not get away. I then took him outside and released him without causing him harm. Had he been an ant, I hope I would have dealt with him similarly, while rcognising the difficulty caused by him eing a tiny little booger.

Spiders are actually a good thing to have in home. They eat all the small microbes and insects that are not visible to us and can pass on disease. They even eat ants.

i used to chase and kill a fly if it was in a room with me - but it was always an unsatisfactory experience.  Now I shepherd them out the window by flapping or waving my arms. No nasty mess to clean up and the karma is better.
