It seems incredulous to me that he has thrown away his career and is facing a lengthy custodial sentence as a sex offender, potentially ruining his life, for a 15 year old pupil. Not to mention the heartache this has caused to the two families involved.

I just don't get it, the girl is 15. It's not some sub continent country where that is ok. His life is going to be an absolute misery after he is captured for what is basically an infatuation with a schoolgirl.

Attitudes have changed over the years
The headmaster at my brother's school was sacked for touching up a 12 or 13 old school boy - it had been an ongoing thing Got himself a job at a girls school. No police. No conviction. Imagine what you'd get in this day and age for a stunt like that? |
