I live alone but I do not always sleep alone.

I live in an area I know but I did not grow up here.

I live alone because that's how the dice rolled.

I am happy enough in my lifestyle because I know the difference between solitude and loneliness.

I'm knocking on 40 and I don't know one man older than me who recommends marriage. Not one.

Hi Crags, I knew when I first looked at this thread that I had posted on it. Well quite a lot has happened since that post.
In 2015 I moved back in with my mom the house I was renting came with the job I was doing and I decided to call it a day on that job( I was being ripped off.)It works ok as mom has been struggling and I did not know how much until I moved back.

I bought a retired racehorse in fact I agreed to having her just before she won at 100/1. I worked in Edinburgh again in 2014 and will be there again in 3 weeks time just visiting this time.
I have 3 jobs now and they are all going well, daughter travelled the world and is now living in Leeds and doing well.

I'm probably happier now than I have been for 10 years though things are not easy. She would have to be very special for me to get back into a serious relationship again, I don't think I'm very good at them.
