This thread is not doing a great deal in dispelling the commonly held "Chit Chat default" status ie A single man living alone,no sex life except the odd brass, heavy drinker, depressed, lonely, potless and living on a mix of pot noodles and baked beans!

my other half is away for the weekend and i was pretty hungry by 10PM, so I had a plate of beans, if that helps.

I also took the outdoor ashtray into the house so I could smoke without getting up.

the links i gave earlier give good descriptions about each type.

i took the test just now and was INTJ, again. I suspect that's what you'll get.

and just for reference, typelogic.com is a good reference. It will also offer career choices and other guesses about what's suited for you. Coincidentally it recommends IT for me, which is the industry I'm in.

Quite similar but i must let my feelings get in way of judgement right now

though i think that would change a bit once out of my current situation

I actually percieve things quite well but must have the feel of something to matter to me .. and do trust my intuition quite strongly

a good solid test though !

INFJs are effective in occupations involving substantial intellectual work, caring for other people, and requiring creativity. INFJs build successful careers in a broad range of organizations. Social and community care services, counseling, teachers of humanities and social sciences, healthcare workers (both in administration and in medical services), various service-oriented professions as well as religious services and social movements are just some of the examples of occupations favourable to INFJs. Quite often they are found in mid-rank management positions. For some of them occupations in sciences or academia are also favourable.

I'm living with a woman (i think it is) now but i had long spells of living alone, and frankly i don't know which one is really better, there are pros and cons on both sides.

It's great to make a meal for someone who appreciates it, and fantastic to live with a woman who can cook. The flip side is when they spend hours preparing something that you wouldn't feed to a starving, rabid dog, so to avoid hurting their feelings you have to subtly distract them so you can hide spoonfuls of casserole under house plants and in draws, yet when they eventually find it, do they appreciate your consideration? Do they bollocks. Women - You can't live with e'm, and you can't live with e'm.

I first lived on my own in 1998. Apart from six months with a mate and six weeks with a bint, I've been on my own ever since. And do you know what? I fúcking love it.

I can do what I want, when I want. No one telling me what to watch on TV, or nagging me for having a load of ales, or annoying me by spending ages in the bathroom, or moaning that I want to go the football. And if I want company, I've got my dog. Springer spaniels are less hairy and smelly than most of the bints who I've been unfortunate enough to

There are a few drawbacks, of course. Although 99% of women are snakes with títs, it'd be great to find one of the 1% of birds who are worth spending time with. I'm not a great cook, so having a decent meal cooked for me occasionally would be nice.

However, looking at the pros and cons, I can honestly say that I would sooner go to a pool party round Michael Barrymore's house than live with someone.

Spent the last 2 years on my own and while it ha sit's benefits the fact that I also work for myself means I have a lot of isolation. I have been feeling depressed recently when an offer came for me to do some work in Edinburgh during the festival, anyway I had 6 great days and I have come back refreshed and ready to try to change my life around.
