The Exorcism of Emily Rose - Really creepy & loosely based on True Story. 3.00 am is the witching hour.....My GF was really freaked for a while.

Schindlers List - Thought provoking, evocative, truly disturbing. All interwoven with the good sideof human nature.

The Champ - Cried loads watching it. When I split up with my ex I was petrified of my daughter coming into my room one morning and me being really ill or dead & her not knowing what to do as a 3 year old & the sadness she would feel.

In China you see loads of odd western images and phrases on fashion tees 'Woolworths'  'Mushroom quiche' etc...
The oddest I saw was a fancy, gold foil and crystal embellished long sleeve top with the Schindler's List poster on it Shocked

1, Cannibal Holocaust - banned for 20 years because of rumours of it being a snuff movie.  One scene shows you killing a REAL life monkies by chopping off its skull and feeding them off to the natives. Can be found on youtube.

2, Bad Taste.

3, Invasion of the body snatchers.

The Human Centipede is repulsive but, like a motorway accident, you have to look.  I think they've made a sequel.  Salo is supposed to be about the Italian fascist elite and what they did to the proles.  Suspect you could make something similar about what the super-rich intend to do to the rest of us in the near-future.  Baise-moi has lot of explicit sex and violence and is pretty remorseless - the sector of French society depicted has deteriorated further in the past decade.

Many of Tarantino's films reflect his degraded persona.

Freaks. Tha actors were real people.

The Shining.

Eraserhead. Not really frightening but very disturbing and creepy for some reason. Like a real life nightmare put on film.

The Thing, more so on it's original release.
Terrorvision, although it's more of a comedy - btw, after 27 years it's finally to be released on dvd this week.
Mama Mia, no more needs to be said.
