Tommy Boyd seems to have vanished without trace as well, not that I listen to the radio much now having said that, he was another very good broadcaster.

Porky has been on radio 5 a few times this year.

Porky was one of the few bright lights on talksport over the yrs and his old sat mornign show with Townsend by far the best show they ever had on that station.

Was v ill a few yrs back hopefully nothing serious.He's no spring chicken though but a very intellegent man nonetheless beneath the bluster.

I used to love saturday and sunday mornings with porky and townsend, set up the sporting day perfectly.

They worked very well together at weekends.

When Porky left Talksport died . Have not listened to a single second since . Porky was Talksport .

Porky doing "Do ya think i'm sexy" nearly made me crash the car one sat morning laughing he was great fun and AT a good foil for him.

Yep, loved Porky. Controllers at that radio station are clueless.

He finally had enough after Keys and Gray got his and Mike Graham's 10am-1pm weekday slot. Had contact issues as well.

I don't blame him.

My personal favourite is when he suggested 'coaches challenges' in football. Instead of throwing a red flag, each manager should have an orange balaclava in their pockets which they must put on if the want to complain.
