Tommy Boyd seems to have vanished without trace as well, not that I listen to the radio much now having said that, he was another very good broadcaster.

Porky was one of the few bright lights on talksport over the yrs and his old sat mornign show with Townsend by far the best show they ever had on that station.
Was v ill a few yrs back hopefully nothing serious.He's no spring chicken though but a very intellegent man nonetheless beneath the bluster. |

I used to love saturday and sunday mornings with porky and townsend, set up the sporting day perfectly.
They worked very well together at weekends. |

When Porky left Talksport died . Have not listened to a single second since . Porky was Talksport .

He finally had enough after Keys and Gray got his and Mike Graham's 10am-1pm weekday slot. Had contact issues as well.
