All runners are on the first post otherwise people will get confused.

I will pencil in Pele for next year though. (In the absence of any health scares, I'd have thought he'd be a 12/1 shot or so).

I did this game about 15 years ago in my pub. Half of the regulars thought I was a sicko, the other half played along with enthusiasm.

Raised about £100 for Bristol Children's hospital.

My local does something similar. Each participant has to cough up £2 per week. When somebody on the list croaks, the lucky winner gets half the pot, the other half goes to cave & mountain rescue. Last won when Sir Norman Wisdom bowed out.

I'll have:

£60 Lucky 15

Paul Gascoigne
Nelson Mandela
Thatcher
Ronnie Biggs

£100 win Michael Douglas

On November 17, 2010, it was reported that Iraqi President Jalal Talibani had declared that he would not sign Aziz's execution order. However, there is still a possibility that the execution will be carried out anyway  Confused

Don't know why, but I'll be genuinely sad when Clive Dunn
dies - two of his co actors in dad's army (godfrey and fraser)
were born in the 1800s ffs, might've fought in ww1.  The insinuation
always seemed to me to be that he was the sameish age as
them.  HE was a ww2 pow too i think

Ron, McCririck sat at the table next to me during the Wimbledon derby earlier this year, whilst he had fairly mild head tremors but he looked like he wasn't going anywhere soon to me and would be a huge lay in my book.
