I am 50 years of age and its the first time i find myself unemployed, having just recently being made reduntant.
I must say it can be quiet easy to sit back and do nothing,I have just recently moved house so i need to work, but i am worried because the first two weeks have flown by and nothing has come up.

It must be a nightmare losing your job in the current economic climate. The whole having to retrain spectre raises its ugly head and I don't know if I could be ar$ed with that.

Canaryboy this will be my last post on this thread, firstly once again I apologise for my previous post, secondly and I hope you understand my comment on your 16.44 post was not really about a dog but more about a incident from my past that I should not have divulged.

I hope you can differentiate between a dead dog/dead child thank you for taking the time to read this post.

Haven't heard from Irchester for a while. He was the guy with Asperger's who was always going on about getting part time cleaning work and asking if it was worth travelling 10 miles on a bus for it. Being out of work is no joke.

Get yourself down to a temping agency. There is plenty of work out there from sweeping the streets to filing in an office.

No work my @rse.

hearts, in Selkirk's world only the idle are unemployed. He lives in a bleak two-dimensional world where things are either black or white (but he'd prefer them to be all white)

No Toop I don't believe that you are necessarily idle if you are unemployed but I do believe that if you really want to work- any type of a job until one in your field becomes available- you can.

You need to have fun and invent games for yourself like how many times will Jeremy Vile will use each of his catch phrases, namely:

Well Well Well.
Why don't you put something on the end of it.
Where I come from they call that a full house.
It's called the Jeremy Vile show!
You're hardly the Archangel Gabriel.
