I think this story has a decent shot of making a lead news bulletin on the Radio 5 news tomorrow morning. The Danny Baker programme would probably run with it for weeks. You are in the wrong business Huggy.

I bet you could do all the elements on the periodic table, Huggy. [;)]

Tenner each way for the first goalscorer to be ytterbium at an irresistible 300/1.

If only I was a tad faster. Just been watching the video on youtube. If I knew that learning it would get me laid at least once, I'd start learning. Laugh

You should do more quizzes Huggy.

What has atomic number ten?  or even twenty?

(Both maximum ten pointers in my pointless style quizzes)

Do you know lots of lists like that then?

blimey, that IS different gravy.  I learned US states and state capitals and all the capitals of all the countries in the world once,  I can still reel off all the states but have probably forgotten as much as 20% of all the capitals.

There are websites that people have put links up for before where you can practice these things, for instance every african country etc.

Done the same, rob. Annoyingly I forget them all too quickly.

Once used an American map with outlined states. When say "Arizona" flashed up you had to click on it for a point. I got maximum points after however many goes it was, did it a couple more times and hoped I'd have it all remembered. No chance! Just remember that Pennsylvania is "on that side" and that South Dakota is "up there" etc. As far it goes for me.
