Just for imformation purposes Lincoln City was the first team i put down because i once wrote them down a couple of months ago and they were the last then.

I think this story has a decent shot of making a lead news bulletin on the Radio 5 news tomorrow morning. The Danny Baker programme would probably run with it for weeks. You are in the wrong business Huggy.

I bet you could do all the elements on the periodic table, Huggy. [;)]

Tenner each way for the first goalscorer to be ytterbium at an irresistible 300/1.

Including all known lanthanides and actinides?

Veridis Quo

I dont know if you are aware that nameing the perodic table in order of atomic numer is a specialality of mine (not counting man made elements,so there is 92,Uranium being the last)
Report Veridis Quo October 18, 2010 11:49 AM BST
He knows the 'Element Song' off by heart. Remember him saying so. Happy

If only I was a tad faster. Just been watching the video on youtube. If I knew that learning it would get me laid at least once, I'd start learning. Laugh

You should do more quizzes Huggy.

What has atomic number ten?  or even twenty?

(Both maximum ten pointers in my pointless style quizzes)
Report Huggy October 18, 2010 11:58 AM BST
neon is ten,Argon is 20
Report UTI October 18, 2010 11:59 AM BST
Top man, then you'd've done well, not sure if anyone got them.

Do you know lots of lists like that then?
Report Huggy October 18, 2010 12:09 PM BST
UTI
i have a good memory for lists, but i must say my mate Tony is the best in Britain for this talent.
number ones in the pop charts at any given week his is specialality, also positions of football teams in there leauges from any year, and i am not joking.
Report Veridis Quo October 18, 2010 12:12 PM BST
Huggy, he must hate having to remember some of the tripe that gets to number one today. Plain
Report UTI October 18, 2010 12:13 PM BST
blimey, that IS different gravy.  I learned US states and state capitals and all the capitals of all the countries in the world once,  I can still reel off all the states but have probably forgotten as much as 20% of all the capitals.

There are websites that people have put links up for before where you can practice these things, for instance every african country etc.
Report Veridis Quo October 18, 2010 12:21 PM BST
Done the same, rob. Annoyingly I forget them all too quickly.

Once used an American map with outlined states. When say "Arizona" flashed up you had to click on it for a point. I got maximum points after however many goes it was, did it a couple more times and hoped I'd have it all remembered. No chance! Just remember that Pennsylvania is "on that side" and that South Dakota is "up there" etc. As far it goes for me.
Report Huggy October 18, 2010 12:22 PM BST
Anytime a few of us are in the pub Tony comes out with his usual sayings as do you know what happened 17 years today 18,19,20 etc.
Report UTI October 18, 2010 12:25 PM BST
I thinkn I can point all the states out on a map.  I think.  Perhaps get one or two wrong.
Report Huggy October 18, 2010 5:32 PM BST
once learned all the state capitals,i probably remember about 35-40 nowadays
Report Huggy October 18, 2010 8:03 PM BST
If you try the 92 football teams please let me know your last team.

Report Huggy October 22, 2010 12:02 PM BST
