Border Terriers, Westies, Yorkies you can't go wrong with these sorts of dogs.

Jack Russells are another small dog that won't stink the house out or leave hairs all over the place.
There are so many to choose from, and they're all so good.

I had a Scottish terrier before the Westie rescue dog.He died of cancer a few months ago.

Scotties look like Westies except they are black.Their personalities are much, much different though.Scotties have this funny seriousness to them and are very stubborn/independent.They don't take to strangers at all but they are very intelligent and do have a strong bond with their owners.

Westies are more playful and friendly. Both are great but, If i had to recommend one i'd go with the Westie.

Woops, not sure what happened there, best of all of them was a black Labrador bitch. I cried my eyes out when we had to let her go.

Think any dog owner could identify with that. This is a really famous piece of American TV from the 1980's.Actor Jimmy Stewart poem about Beau, his dog who had just died...its really beautiful.

Not really B-B, he is off to Fitzpatrick's Referrals in Goldaming first thing tomorrow morning for a 10 hour chemotherapy session, he won't make old bones. He is in the best place possible and is fully insured but he is very wobbly. I'll be completely devastated should I have to make the decision in the next couple of years but you have to do the right thing. Cry
