I want to take my parents away in a couple of weeks, i remember someone advising me about somewhere near the lake district that had a walk along a river (waterfalls) and also a acave walk?? A ny help please?

Anywhere around Buttermere is incredible, still quite unspoilt. But for a waterfall you can't get better than Gordale Scar in Malham in Yorkshire. It's how you might imagine the moon to look.

We went to Ingleton during a hot summer, the waterfall was like a dripping tap.

Ingleton can be quite strenuous if they aren't used to walking far & as said earlier they've got to be viewed after heavy rain. A walk which may interest you is Aira (spelt something like that)Force which is in the Lake district,worth a visit.
