You are probably correct david fishwick minibus sales because whatever your spelling is, it certainly isn't English.

no moves, again, let me explain.  It isn't because he is Scottish that it is fun to tease him, it is because he is an insufferable spoilt little brat.   I feel similarly about John Terry, fwiw.

Sibroni you really are so very silly, your patronising comments, starting off with "let me explain" its if your talking to 3 year old and you yourself are oh so very wise.

Well let me tell you Sibroni, oh yes you are jealous, camoflage your comments by suggesting that he looks a little bit intense when he is on court but trust me your comments derive 100% from xenephobia.

The last time England had a decent player was before the war; the fact Scotland has a world class player just gets too you so much.

I am not sure your even honest to yourself about the true reason why Andy Murray irks you so much. Just in case there is any confusion left, let me spell it out, you are jealous of Andy Murray because he is Scottish, oh yes you are.

Its all a little complicated that no moves; assumes too much about someone you don't know.

Lets stick to the facts.

Mighty Muzza. Uk's most recent winner of a men's singles junior major and only British player in recent memeory to reach two senior finals.
Respected by anyone who actually understands sport, has an actual income stream or has achieved jack-sh1t in their lives.

Hmm.  On that criteria, I'd be better off supporting Fed or Nadal, wouldn't I?  (PS. Murray refuses to play for Britain).

In fact on that criteria, if I refuse to support any rich sportsman, that makes me jealous?  What an odd view.  We engage with sport because we engage with the personalities.  I love watching Ronnie O'Sullivan so I support him.  I don't hold with whooping Anerican golfers, but love John Daly.  What has any of that got to do with jealousy.

Murray is a spoilt little brat who loses with no grace whatsoever.  I don't like him.  And he has won this many Grand Slams:

I agree with Sib.

I don't care where people come from, but I can't abide marde arses like Andy Murray (include Tim Henman, Nigel Mansell, Ian Poulter and Monty in that list).

Hey hey.  Murray cruises past the first round of the China Open, and Nadal is playing in the Japan Open.

Could this be his big chance?

No moves, are you the dumbest c**t to grace this thread?

John Lloyd reached the final of the 1978 aussie open final and lost in five sets.

Please take your innacuracies and plain ignorance elsewhere.

1977* open for Lloyd rather. Silver jubilee year was a good one for tennising in England weren't it?

"Except for 1969 and 1971 tournament many of the best players missed the championship until 1982 because of the remoteness and the inconvenient date(near to christmas and new years day)and the low prize money". (wikipedia, australian championships).

I do not think it can be taken serious as a major championship in the 1970s with the majority of the worlds best players missing.

Not my strong point maths but I'll have a go.....

2010 - 1977 = 37

70 > 37 therefore to say England has not had a male singles Grand Slam winner in the last 70 years is factually incorrect.

Murray Slams easier to work out......NIL

I'll await sibaroni to confirm when he gets his slot with Deep Blue.

It was a joke event byorn borg only ever went there once when he was 18 years old. John Lloyd was a third rate tennis player he never progressed past the third round at Wimbledon.

still level with Murray on Slams though
By:

When: 07 Oct 10 22:42
Even if I accept  that the third rate tennis tournament which was the Australian Open of the 1970's, which no decent player of the era seemed to attend, being made up of hopeless nobodies like John Lloyd could technicaling be described as a major, how does that make the mediocre John Lloyd equal with Andy Murray? Who has two grand slam final appearences,
By:
David Fishwick Minibus Sales
When: 07 Oct 10 22:46
cos John Lloyd has five.
