lol JONO.
I'll give it a go - reckon i've put a fair bit on in the last few days. maybe pushing 13st and a half on NWD. My fighting weight is probably 11stone - which I was 2 years ago. Would be nice to get back down to that by 31 December 2010 |

Weighing in at 225 stones
I'll win this |

Weighing in at 15 st 05 lb.
Target is to lose a stone in the first six months and a stone in the second six months. Bought a book (which i can reccommend) called 'Get Fit Not Fat' to help motivate me in the new year. The book concentrates more on exercise than dieting. |

I am aiming to do lots of exercise - running and walking basically - rather than reducing what I eat. If I can consume about 2300 cal/day and exercise 500/day then that is net 1800 which is 700 less than I need which works out at about 75g (3oz) of fat burned. So in a week that is about 500g fat burned, lets call it a pound. I will be happy burning a pound a week (may seem slow to most people) But that would get me from 13/2 down to 11/0 in just 30 weeks - about end of july which would be a result.
Good luck all. |

Weighed in this evening just before a shower, and was bang on 14 stone. This time last year was 15 stone 7, so it's all good. However, although I do look thinner, I am still fat ]:)
So this year's plan is 13 stone. In actual fact, I'd like to do that by May/June time. And it's to be a toned and healthy 13 stone. Last year was mostly shift weight. This year it's shift weight and get healthy/stronger/fitter, and ditch the gf and bag Celina Hinchcliffe during my Summer holidays. Brief PofA to start with is: 1) Back to eating minimum during the week 2) Alcohol only 1 day per week 3) 100 sit ups every day 4) 100 press ups in a week 5) One piece of major cardiovascular activity per week. Swimming esp I think. It gets little muscles you never knew you had working. And I haven't swum properly in ages and ages. That it all. |

6"1 so bmi is apparently 25.9, just 1.0 away from "Normal weight"! However, this BMI is a total bunch of carp imo. It makes Paula Radcliffe out as obese and all this stuff if I recall rightly. Doesn't take into account muscle etc.

shouldn't be too hard to lose a stone if you stick at it |

I weighed in at 5 feet 9 and 15st 10lbs on 31/12/09. :(
Hoping to get down to 13st 4lbs by end of year. Ideally to get under 13st at some point and stay there. Eating sensibly and exercising more here. Weighing in every Friday. |

13st 2lb (5ft 7in) on NYD lunchtime. Normally weigh in first thing in the morning after a p.ss. I did that yesterday morning - 13st and 0.75 pounds. Need to get down to 11 stone. Will try going to the gym at lunctime instead of pub. Instead of 3 pints (700 calories, £9.00) I will go to the gym and run about 5 miles (650 calories burned, £2.50). A long run on the weekends of 10 or more miles. Hope to do the Watford half marathon beginning of Feb and the Stratford full marathon end April.
Good luck all |

how do you get to work pos4street? Mine's 2 miles away and I walk it, and back too but I generally have a good diet, I just drink way too much alcohol which is calorie laden, my target is 11 stone too, if am 12 10 tomorrow, I'd like to be 11 stone by the end of february which is a hard task but will update on here |

So a 5mile run (40mins) actually takes 1hr10 of lunchtime. It is a real spit and sawdust place, full of trainee criminals, but 2.50 a session is a result. |
