well, being a shavenheadead baldy doesn't help :)
By:

When: 03 Jan 10 17:46
I take it that's a yes

I feel it doesnt look too round when I look in a mirror, but in photographs, it appears to be and the camera doesn't lie, well unless it's airbrushed

that's why I want to slim down to 11 stone, and even then I think I ought to be 10 stone 7, but one bit at a time

I need to get off the bevvy cos of my work, so I have other motivations too

I was down to 11st2lb 2 years ago and was running marathons and half maras regularly. When you run that much you can almost eat what you like - it was brilliant, but then just got out of the habit. Exercise is defo the best way imo, because I love eating and drinking.

10st7lb is prob my fighting weight too, but would be well happy with anything close to 11st.

I used to exercise regularly and drank loads at weekends and still kept very slim

until alcoholism took the better of me

a mate asked me if i fancied doing the 10k run in glasgow in March, and I said yea am up for it so need to train
By:
punterfleecer
When: 03 Jan 10 17:58
i was actually 15 stone 8 at one point, but never saw myself as fat

but when i went down to 12 stone 2 last year, people started telling me I used to be a fat fvck and i look so much better now

shame I was never told that when I was actually fat

and you can also tell if you have lost a stone or 2 by more women looking at you more often, well as long as you're not too ugly!

I've entered the watford half marathon beginnng of feb. I did a third of the luton marathon beginning of december (was one leg of a relay) so I reckon with a bit more training I could do a half.

10k is a good distance to start off at. Somewhere around the hour mark would be a good target to start off with. Just don't be put off by how quick many of the other runners are in these races. I am staggered at how fast and for how long these runners in the proper races can achieve. Drinking is my big problem too, all I can hope to do is reduce the intake.

I don't have that prob punter. My mates wouldn't think twice about calling me fat. I've caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror a few times recently and am becoming what I would call a proper chubber. There's no excuse for it imo, not when I'm only 31yo and no health issues.

Believe it or not, I don't have a round / fat face.
It's all around my middle.
I was at a conference where we were sat at round tables and a guy was**ging off the obese. You should have seen his face when I stood up. :) :(

pos4street, are you sure you can do it?

am starting tomorrow and thanks for putting up a list of who's doing what

you need to stay off the alcohol during the week, ok, today is Sunday, but what am gonna do is leave it to no more than twice a week

even 2 pints is bad that's 400 calories, drinking is ok if you are at the weight you want to be and exercising, but if ye want tae lose any, try to avoid as much alcohol as possible

but best of luck!

Weight is 15 st 05 lb
Height is 6 ft 2 inch.

A good idea aswell as having a target weight is to set goals that do not involve weight. For example to achieve some physical goal like running a half marathon as mentioned earlier, then the weight well take care of itself.

I aim to use the rowing machine for one hour non stop and to be able to do 250 skips non stop.
