1953 Eddie Fisher with Hugo Winterhalter's Orchestra & Chorus - "Outside Of Heaven"
30 January for 1 week Good god this is awful, bring on the 60s. It is only January so far. This is quite simply an awful tune. Dad's Army should feel ashamed if it ever played this as back ground music. I'm sure it is only 3 years before Elvis pee and Chuck Berry get into action. |

Pity you couldnt find "Hey Joe" by Frank Ifield. The bit where he plays the guitar with his teeth is legend! |

If this shower of shiiite was No. 1 how bad were those bubbling under? You do know that once you reach the end of this marathon, some heartless b-stard will suggest you do the same for No. 1 albums... |

Frank Sinatra - "Three Coins in the Fountain"
17 September for 3 weeks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ld4c9FGDJ4&feature=PlayList&p=C9B5A524B98C6477&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=2 a famous song, and one of the most famous singers of all time. I still don't like this song though. pretty unamazing imo. I thought pre rocknroll 50s music was all about mad dogs and englishmen going out in the mid day sun (i liked that song) i haven't liked any song so far pretty much. |
